Waterfront Montessori

Brilliant school! Moved from NYC to JC for it specifically.

We adore the school. The teachers are exceptional. The classrooms are beautiful. The curriculum is so engaging, and really allows our daughter to grow at her own pace. We couldn’t be happier.

My son attended Waterfront for 6 years and he could not be happier with this place. Also, as a mom, I have to say this is one of the best schools in our area. My son liked his teachers who had been very nice and attentive to his education. We had to leave the school for personal reasons, but Waterfront would've been our first choice if we didn't have to leave. Absolutely recommend it!

Our three children each attended Waterfront Montessori for 11 years, starting with pre-k3 thru eighth grade graduation, with our youngest just graduating in June 2022. Having been a school parent for 14 years, I am completely amazed at the education, and personal growth they accomplished at WFM. They have become accomplished, smart, independent learners, active participants in their community. They have a phenomenal foundation for their continued success in high school. The teachers and staff are amazing, they constantly go above and beyond to ensure all students are continuing their education journey. As a firm believer in Montessori education, WFM was a natural choice when our twins were starting school at 3, they came home every day excited about school and eager to return. Progressing to the IB middle years program, was natural growth.

My name is Anastasiia Burenok. My husband Denys, my daughter Veronika and me are very thankful to Waterfront Montessori for giving Veronika an opportunity to study. We are Ukrainians, and we can’t go back home to our native city Kharkiv, so we had to change our life. Veronika came to WFM in the middle of the year with no knowledge of English. Bravery is for my little daughter who is experiencing challenges everyday. But with the help of the staff of WFM, lovely teachers (especially Ms Nanuli and Ms Evelyn) and friendly children who make Veronika feel comfortable, loved and happy. Being a part of Waterfront Montessori community is the best thing that happened to our family in the past several months! Thank you.

1 Star but just for the hard-working teachers, otherwise it would be 0. Join the school at your risk and peril as you will need to deal with an inflexible director that will always apply loosely written terms and rules in a way that will allow her to increase her own profits. She will never think twice to call in her lawyers to settle parents that have reasonable but non standard demands. The time that as a parent you will need to spend in admin topics will far exceed that you will be able to invest in the education of your kids. Stay away from this place, do not be lured in by the name, and keep looking. It is definitely not worth it.
