My son has been going to Stepping Stones fro six months now and our experince thus far has been excellent. The teachers and management are caring and had attention to details. My son started with the infant class and have now transitioned to the walker class now, in both classes our expericne has been great with the care provided.

After being gone for almost 2 months. And going to a wayyy better daycare I wanted to give my honest opinion. Only go here if you absolutely have too or temporarily. The infant room is OK and Ms Ana pre k room is OK but this facility socks. No curriculum. Toilets are not made for kids or potty training. Teachers are argumentative with the parents some of them try to give "expert" opinions and really don't know nothing. Both of my kids attended here at some point my oldest who is 6 I was getting calls always about him being bad and we he left and started kindergarten he flourished tremendously and was skipped to the first grade. I realized he was just bored as a lot of times they moved him up to the older kids class who was at stepping stones for the summer and all they do is sit in a room. For my youngest who is two. Did well in the infant room after that it was down hill . He got sick numerous of times from this facility and it was such a huge fight to potty train him. He would go through a whole week's change of clothes in 1 day. Since moving to a way better daycare he may have an accident once a day. The communication regarding a child day socks. They have lots of half days and addition to holidays which makes no sense especially if u look at other daycare that aren't doing it. They're pretty much getting paid for ur child not to attend. Holiday time expect your kid to be pretty much at home with you. Also security wise. Staff is barely in the front. It wasn't until I started looking at oth3r daycare I realized how much stepping stones was horrible. Snack time expect saltiness crackers and water for your little ones. There's also isn't really a curriculum. I would suggest any one to be mindful if touring here. I realized if a daycare doesn't have an open door policy for tours then it means they're cleaning up and making things look good for the appointment.. also they will send ur child home if they have 3 bowel movements in a day. Which I felt they did when they were tired of a child or the teacher was ready to go home. Not the worst daycare buttttt I would NEVER in a million years go back.

So I have mixed reviews about this place. My 2 nieces have been attending for almost 2 years. The reason the started here, it was close to the house AND it was approved for childcare credit- state qualifies you for. In the beginning, we were really impressed with how much the teachers worked with the children. In the last year, things have changed. The daycare is closed a lot, even without prior notice than the next day. Teacher turn-over rate is high. Seems just as you get to know one teacher, there are gone. The inconsistency is awful for the students. The childcare is quick to send children home at any cost. Seems they don’t understand the importance of parents needing to be able to rely on them. They just want you to drop everything and pick your child up. There are several times it seems as if no one is watching the children, as my nieces often come home with marks on them from other children. I think the last thing that really upset me was when the asst. director went on to tell my sister my niece had ADHD. That she needs to have her looked at. As a certified teacher myself, I know how wrong that is to do. She had no right to try and assess anything like that. She is not certified to tell a parent something like that. Mind you my niece is 3 years old. So my recommendation is to really talk to parents and the teachers to see if this daycare is the right fit for your child. I think you will be disappointed!!

I highly recommend Stepping Stones Children's Academy to anyone in search of an excellent day care service. The management and staff are truly dedicated and disciplined. Since joining this academy, my 3 year old as well as my 18 months-old are always excited to go to school. At 18months she has developed a love for writing and scribbling as a hobby. The facility is clean and provides a conducive environment for learning. The location as well as value for price are additional attractions.
