Montessori School of Jersey City

My son completed prek-4 from this school last year. I had a very GOOD experience from this school. The teachers were very friendly. On top it, the Montessori teaching and methodologies were way better . My son have a very good memory from this school and specially the head teacher Miss Ada. Miss Ada's teachings was comprehensive which helped my son to gain curiosity to learn on science, numbers etc.

Had a bizarre experience interviewing for our kid here. When we asked for a copy of the contract, the owner was very hesitant and gave us a copy that was a couple of years old. We just assumed we could keep it, like we had kept literature from other schools where we had interviewed. Turns out we couldn't keep it, and the owner aggressively got it back from us. Throughout the tour she kept on mentioning how she has lawyers and has had to take previous parents to court over tuition. Like, I get that's a part of people not paying, but it was so strange how she kept on bringing it up. We left the basement of the house where the school is and we never went back.

Great school. Children don't want to leave at the end of the day. First montessori school of Jersey City.
