La Petite Academy at Encino Rio was an exceptional experience for both my infant and 4-year-old. The care they provided was outstanding, consistently delivering on their promises. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, fostering growth and learning in a safe and nurturing environment. From the leadership team to the teachers, the staff was dedicated, professional, and genuinely caring. My children thrived during their time there, and I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to enroll them.

Completed our 1st week with the infant care program — what an experience! As a first time mom, I cried; on the tour, the first drop off, and every day my 1st week. But as I watch the camera's, and see how amazing they are with my 6 month old, it's made my struggle only an internal one. They send pictures and videos of him laughing and playing. And they don't over do it either. They let him have his space and just observe his environment and everything that is going on around him. They allow interaction, but also don't let the other friends climb all over him — a great balance! I have never felt like they've ignored my baby or pretended to care just because someone is in the room. The conversations and comfortability they have with these growing humans is so genuine. Although it's only been 1 week, I'm so happy we started at La Petite and chose this location. Considering all the reviews are years old, stay tuned for a 1 month update! 🤍

If you care about your child, DON’T SEND THEM HERE! The teachers are paid close to minimum wage and don’t care. They will watch children bully your kids, and refuse to stop it. They will also make your kid feel like they do not matter. They are understaffed and can not afford quality childcare teachers.

I dropped in and did an impromptu tour due to situation explained in how horrible their communication & service is. Infant to teacher ration is great! One older woman watching a few babies. It was pleasant . -1 year old and up is horrible! To see infant nursery you have to pass by 1 year old class. There was only 1 teacher with SO many littles running around. SO crowded for kids 1 and up . -4 year old and up room is located in the way back. There was 1 OLDER woman just sitting with ONE child in the corner SO focused on putting on doll clothes with that ONE child while kids were running rampant. So excited to see a fresh face asking me so many questions and interacting . Sweet kids they were. After the actual tour I was a bit hesitant to sign up due to the tour I experienced but my fiance assured me it will be ok. - I had my car broken into at my children's current daycare. I called La Petite spoke to a woman in the office stated they did have space for my youngest 2 children just not my oldest for after school. I was ok with it then. I called back the following day to schedule a tour. I was then told spot was filled and was told " No we don't have anything available for those age groups and won't for a few months". & to "have a great day" . I called back because I thought it was completely rude I wasn't offered a waiting list or anything. I then inform them my cousin's child attends the daycare and I have a great interest and inquired about a waiting list . I was told to come in and they can make it work since I know a child who attends the daycare. I called the following day to speak to Center Director & told her about the exchange. She then apologizes and tells me they really wont have any openings for a while. -Fast forward to ANOTHER break in 5 months later at my children's daycare (whole purse money , id's , credit card everything stolen broken window ) . I was fed up went to La Petite without scheduling a tour (perfect time because when you schedule tours they tidy up & make everything appear great ) . -I was told slots won't open up for a few months I was ok with it , was told I needed to pay Registration fee to hold spot, I informed them I will come as soon as possible that following Monday due to not having anything and having to pay deductible for insurance to fix my broken window. -On Monday I was informed my daughter's Elementary school is offering full day Pre-K. I called La Petite and asked instead of registering her for full day will they be able to pick her up from elementary school. DIRECTOR was very confused and told me it is not their policy then proceeded to ask me "What time will my daughter be released from Elementary School?" I said "2:55 like other kids , It's something new this year. " She said " Yeah, no it's against our policy we can not pick up pre-schoolers even if they get out of the time as other students". I found that VERY odd and called 1-800 line for La Petite .I was informed it's not problem as long as it's a zoned school to go back and let office know . -My fiance called back and was informed by another worker who was NOT Director that He will check on it for him and call back. He called my fiance back immediately and informed him that YES they can pick her up as long as child is 4 years old & at least weighs 40lbs due to seat belt policy & bus safety. My fiance then tells them great, I will be in Friday My fiance calls office asks if they accept cash or card and informed office he was coming to register 2 children with names given . He arrives and is told the spots were already taken . COMPLETE waste of time . Communication is horrible. WHEN HE CALLED they could have informed him spots were taken for the days we were signing children to start. Woman in the front then continued to argue with him saying " Well you said you were coming 2 weeks ago " My fiance said no it was 1 week we also wanted to verify if you will pick up our toddler from Elementary school. She then puts the blame on another coworker and said HE was at fault. Communication is so horrible

The staff there are ALL very personable and VERY friendly. My son has been in attendance for the past few months and is learning so much from his teacher(s). I cannot brag enough about their facility and curriculum. We are extremely happy with this location and would highly recommend their school for any parent who wants the best for their child.

Our family recently moved to San Antonio and was worried about my daughter adjusting at a new school. My 4yr can be a bit much for most, but Mr. Clint and Ms. Kelsey have been so wonderful with her. Even when my sons after school program is closed for the breaks they have taken him with no problems. On top of that Kristina, the director, has been so understanding to my families situation and has gone above and beyond for us. The staff at La Petite Academy has been more than welcoming. They have provided a second home for my children

My daughter loves her teachers and runs into class every morning. The staff are all very personable, caring and helpful. Ms. Kristina is a wonderful director who manages to know every single child's name. I am so glad that my husband and I found this school.
