Updated Review 10/2024: The school declined incredibly quick specifically when a switch in lead guides occurred. This used to be a school I recommended but no longer can due to several occurrences. If you are okay with digging through mulch to find your child's water bottle, getting a galore of sticker sheets, unwiped snot, incidents with no incident reports documented, missing clothes, or even dropping off/ picking up child without the lead teacher being present in sight then go ahead and enroll. A full month went by before I ever received an update through what was supposed to be a daily log and when asking what my child was working on I could not get answer only that my child was ready to move up to the next class. No child should ever be put in this neglectful environment. Toured a few montessori schools and Guidepost was it for us for several reasons. The true teachings of Montessori, quality of materials, and the involvement between the school and families is what really brought it home for us. We have seen our little one improve on skills and learn so much in such a short time. Mrs. Chelsi embodies everything a parent could want for their little. She's present, and involved, compassionate, and caring. Mrs. Chelsi promotes independence and allows for creative choices in her classroom. Our little is so happy to see Mrs. Chelsi and Ms. Anya and as a parent you can't help but feel so thankful. Guidepost is a wonderful school with certified guides and a place I would recommend to anyone looking to begin or continue the teachings of montessori.

**Zero Stars - Extremely Disappointing Experience** I wish I could give zero stars for the experience I’ve had with this Montessori. My son attended for only two days in mid-August and came home with a 103-degree fever, later diagnosed with strep throat. As a parent with a high-risk individual at home, I immediately informed the school that he would not be returning. Despite this, I’ve been charged for the full month of August and September, even after being told I would receive a refund for September. What makes matters worse is the lack of professionalism. When I called to explain my situation, I was hung up on. It’s absolutely outrageous that this Montessori is more focused on collecting fees than understanding the health and safety concerns of its families. The lack of proper sanitization practices is alarming, and no parent should have to worry about their child coming home dangerously ill after just a couple of days. If you value transparency, professionalism, and the health of your family, I strongly advise against sending your child here. The way they’ve handled this situation is beyond disappointing.

I travel quite a bit for work and when I was in San Antonio for the Fourth of July I got to “float” my daughter. A really great benefit of there being so many locations. The teachers were all nice and the classrooms had the same “feel” so she really didn’t have a hard time adjusting. Seems like the school admins at all their schools are usually top-notch so I really always feel comfortable when I travel if there is a guidepost nearby.

My daughter has been attending Guidepost since she was 10 weeks old. She is now 2 and a half and everyone always notices how advanced and independent she is. Guidepost Montessori is an environment where children are guided to success in a school setting and in their everyday lives. The Head of School and Assistant Head of School have always made sure we feel connected and keep us updated on any changes. We can’t thank the staff enough for all their hard work and love they put into our daughter and all of the children that attend Guidepost.

Since my daughter started from nido all the way to toddler, my daughter has learned to be independent and her language has grown so much. I love the guides there, they are so supportive and loving.

Guidepost at Vineyard is the best possible choice I could have made for my children! Of all the schools I toured, it was a clear winner. The guides in each environment are so welcoming, caring, and passionate in their work to shape these children! The Head of School and Assistant Head of School are warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They really go above and beyond to create the most safe and healthy learning environment for the kids. If Montessori is your jam, there’s no better option!

All the employees are passionate about their role and provide excellent modeling of grace and courtesy. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested!

We've been blessed to have both of our kids attend this Montessori school, and it's been an incredible journey for our family. The teachers here are not only kind and compassionate but also incredibly organized, ensuring that every child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive. Safety is a top priority, and we've always felt reassured knowing that our children are in a secure environment. From fostering independence to nurturing curiosity, this school embodies the essence of Montessori education. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our children here.
