Davenport Montessori

The best daycare! We took our daughter as an infant first to a large franchise daycare in the area and had a terrible experience. After being recommended Davenport by a friend, we couldn’t say more great things about this place. The teachers and director are the absolute best! My daughter loves them so much and you can tell how much they genuinely love all of the kids. The director is communicative, responsive and extremely hands on. The teachers are absolutely amazing. They cater individually to every child’s needs and keep parents informed. You won’t ever have to worry about your children being in great hands at Davenport.

I was so grateful to have found Davenport. My son had been going to a school that I was less than thrilled of. He’s been at Davenport since he was about 2 years old, he’s grown so much and is getting ready to start pre-k. As soon as you walk into the school you can feel how welcoming it is, fresh flowers in the lobby and it always smells so clean. A passcode is needed for anyone to enter the building, it’s very secure. With summer here, they have been doing an amazing job with organizing fun activities for the kids to do. My son is excited to start his new school but we will miss everyone at Davenport. 💖

We love Davenport! The staff is amazing! My daughter loves all her teachers and we love how much she has grown in the year we have been here. I highly recommend this school. Plus they have a massive outdoor play area which was definitely a huge bonus for us.

Update: we left a few months ago for another preschool, were disappointed, and came back. Our 3 year old loves preschool at Davenport and we have been very impressed. They actively work with her on letters, numbers, etc. and she comes home talking about the activities she does. We have a 15 month old baby there as well who is also very happy. Our daughter has been at Davenport since she was about 8 months old (and is now almost 2). We have had a great experience so far and have no plans to leave. I love the staff - Miss Soni (the owner) is so caring and attentive and provides very individualized care. Her staff has been the same since we started at Davenport - in my view, very low turnover like that is rare and is a sign of a great school. My daughter has friends at school and runs inside every day. The other thing I love about Davenport is the emphasis on outside time. It is so important for toddlers to spend tons of time outside. Miss Soni emphasizes outside play time and when the weather is nice the kids will be out for a lot of the day. I highly recommend!!

My daughter started at Davenport when she was 3 months old and we have loved it there. All of the staff knows every child and treats them like their own family. Our kiddo clearly loved it and was so happy to go to school every day. It's a well cared for school (very clean and organized), and it's so cute when they hang the kids artwork and things on the walls. They are a real community of caregivers and it shows in how happy the kids are. HIGHLY recommend this school!

We have sent our son here for two years. They have been great since day one. We highly recommend them. The staff are all so nice. Our son tells us all the time how much he loves going to school. He is ahead of the curve as a result of going here.

My son has been going there for about 4 months now (15 months old) and we really enjoy it. The staff really love these kids. When we pick up and drop off he can't wait to see his teachers!

Davenport Montessori is amazing! I have both of my kids enrolled since they were 12 weeks old. The staff are like family and my kids love them so much that they can’t leave without giving them hugs. The staff is very competent and they communicate any concerns in a timely and professional manner. I would recommend 100 times over!
