As first-time parents, we were extremely worried about daycare. These worries started to disappear after meeting the directors Sarah and Nicole. These 2 are hard at work all day, not only ensuring the safety of your kid but all kids in the building, as doing everything they can to keep all these kids smiling. Our 2 infant teachers, Megan and Nidia, are the type of teachers that your parental intuition immediately says your child is safe here. I could not ask for a better pair to be watching over my son. Please keep these 2 teachers, no matter what! Thank you, everyone, for making my stress about daycare go away and keeping my son safe and happy!

My daughter has been going here for a few months now and she loves it. She likes to play with her friends and learning new things. She loves her teachers too. Since she started I have noticed more of her personality coming out and been hearing her talk more. All of the staff has been great and I am fully comfortable leaving her there for the day. Communication with staff has been great. They have been great with keeping parents up to date on what’s happening in the building during the pandemic (like illnesses and staffing issues they’ve had during this hard time). Everything from her day is logged in a system and and email is automatically sent to me upon heck out. I can see what activities they did, what and how much she ate, if she napped and diaper changes. I even get pictures of her doing activities or playing with her friends and I can see how happy she is. I am really glad I found Small Beginnings for my daughter.

My son has been going here since he was just a couple months old right now two and a half. He so loves it! He asks to go to school daily, and is so sad and bored if we can't go. The teachers and leadership have always been ridiculously kind and gracious. We've been so impressed by how much he's learned how quickly his language and social skills have developed, all of which is a huge credit to Canterbury. I recommend them to everyone. As a working mom they make me feel so much better about what my son does with his time. We've been especially impressed with how well they've handled all the chaos and uncertainty of the pandemic. The staff are just wonderful here. Very patient with the kids and they have a top notch facility complete with a gym! Perfect over the winter for the kids to run around in. One of our favorite parts are all the small animals in classrooms that the kids can help with and play with. Very happy we found Canterbury!

Excellent facility. We've been coming here for a few years with our 2 boys, and really trust the folks at Canterbury. They are great at communicating and very accommodating of any needs. They handled the pandemic exceptionally well, and always felt safe sending our kids into the facility once it reopened.
