I love little sprouts! I currently work here as a classroom assistant and I am so grateful for this unique and high quality school. My daughter goes here with me full time and I absolutely love seeing her enjoy the gardens, playing with Einstein our large African Tortoise, leading younger friends in the multi-age classroom and learning at her own pace. Our lead teachers Ms. Natalie & Ms. Jean are wonderful, knowledgeable, and certified as Montessori guides. Ms. Natalie is always warm, loving, giving, serving the children, parents, and teachers! She has created a truly amazing community of learning, exploration and intentional care for little ones. Absolutely consider this school, take a tour, and get on the wait-list for your kiddos. I'm blessed to be a part of Little Sprouts Montessori! 🪷

We LOVE Little sprouts! We started our son at age 3 and within 6 months, he was learning things I didn’t imagine he could at his age! The teachers are incredible and they have a passion to teach kids! This is not a daycare, they are an intentional school and community that want to help you and your family as you raise your children! The biggest blessing!!

Little Sprouts Montessori is a wonderful school!! The children are surrounded by natural learning materials and a beautiful garden all year long. The teachers involve the students in all practical life areas, from washing dishes to preparing meals. My daughter loves to help make meals now and willingly cleans at home. The Montessori method facilitates such a love of learning, but the teachers there are so active in making sure that each child is on track with their reading and math goals. They really want to make sure that they kiddos are ready for 1st and 2nd grade. My daughter had a hard time reading, but at Little Sprouts she found the joy in it, and now she reads all the time and is helping others! The older children get to help and be be an example for the younger children, so they get such a sense of responsibility. This school has been a joy in our lives. There are periodic potlucks for the families there, and every morning and afternoon other parents are dropping off and picking up - so it truly feels like a family. I know the kiddos are in such great hands with the staff here. They love the children so much and have a passion for their wholesome growth. Spring and summer is a gorgeous time at Little Sprouts. The gardens are absolutely glorious. Imagine going to school in the Garden of Eden everyday! I know this has helped shaped our daughter into a lover of nature and beauty.

When I first found out about Little Sprouts Montessori I was beyond excited! I knew I had found a gem. It felt like home. I was a teacher at Little Sprouts for about four years and during that time I watched the school continue to evolve and blossom. The environment is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eyes but very nourishing for the soul as well. Between the inside classroom and the outdoor classroom the children were able to receive exactly what they were needing in order to grown and become more whole independent individuals. The outdoor classroom is filled with wonder! Between the garden and the many farm animals that little sprouts has the children are able to be close to nature. They are able to be so interconnected in the process of gardening that I was seeing many children try new healthy foods and even find their love of gardening! In todays world children are becoming more and more disconnected from nature yet nature is what we NEED on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. I couldn't be more grateful for Little Sprouts Montessori and what it has to offer the children and the parents who become apart of this intimate loving community. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to any parent who is trying to find a preschool for their child.

I had the pleasure observing Little Sprouts Montessori School in November, and was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful layout of the outdoor and indoor classrooms. The urban farm setting was something most Montessori schools lack in this area and I feel it is needed for the true experience of a Montessori school. Everything flowed nicely as the day started and children entered the classroom. Every child was continuously busy with a task during my observation, and the transition times seemed stress free and peaceful. Everything was done to true Montessori fashion from the children helping to prepare their Thanksgiving feast to the student and teacher lead lessons being given. The staff was extremely professional and the facility was clean and neat with Montessori work on every shelf! I was impressed with Little Sprouts Montessori school and would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in Montessori education for their child. It was truly a wonderful experience, and one of a kind for the Kansas City area.

We loved this school and only wish it would accommodate older students - we didn't want to leave! Our daughter learned everything she needed to "learn"... but what she experienced is what most impressed us. She grew food from seed to harvest; helped raise goats, chickens, and ducks; received plenty of time for unstructured play. She experienced a true childhood while receiving an excellent education. What more could a parent ask for? Thank you Little Sprouts for all you did for my daughter and all you do for those lucky enough to attend!

The absolute best!!!! We consider all of the staff at Little Sprouts family. My son is very shy and had pretty serious separation anxiety and everyone worked to make sure we all adjusted great!
