Weinacker’s Montessori School - Mobile

My daughter has been going to Weinackers only a short time now but we absolutely love it. Wish we would have found them sooner. In such a short period of time she has learned so much and can not wait til go to school everyday. Thank you Weinackers for being such an awesome place for kids!!

My son has been at Weinacker’s for about 6 weeks and we are loving it. He looks forward to going to school everyday and loves all of his teachers. I love the emphasis on independence and educational play.

We love WMS! Our children have really flourished at this school and we love the student-led approach to teaching. The positive environment and friendly staff make this school great!

Tried to call to get more information on enrollment but the mailbox for the Hillcrest location said it was full and hung up on me. Not a good first impression but I was able to call back and speak with Teresa and she was very nice and helpful. Look forward to taking a tour of the facility soon! Update: I was able to meet with Rene, the director, and she gave me a thorough tour and was VERY helpful answering all of my questions. This school is looking very high on our list even with the cost being a little more than the other day cares I've looked at.

Having recently moved to the area we looked at various preschools. We immediately fell in love with the Hillcrest location. The teachers were welcoming, warm, friendly and showed they cared making my son feel at home on his first day. He immediately took to them and he loves coming to school every day.

We LOVE our school! The teachers genuinely love our children, which makes dropping off so much easier. They are all dedicated to helping the children develop in so many ways; socially, with mobility and fine motor skills, independence, recognizing letters/words/numbers, real life skills, potty training. I am constantly told "I can't believe he can do that/knows that!" If you haven't looked in to Weinacker's, you need to, they go way above the normal daycare expectations. We couldn't be happier! Kids : 6 months and 2 years, at Weinacker's for almost 2 years

We've had our son at the Hillcrest location for almost a year and he couldn't love it more. He's learned so much here and it's amazing to see how Montessori principles are applied to infant and toddler learning. It's fun to see their monthly calendar, it's very detailed and I can tell that he retains the information, likely because so much of the learning is hands-on. The teachers and staff are very friendly and very involved in the classroom. They care about the children and it shows! There are great lines of communication between teachers/directors and parents and there are lots of opportunities to be involved in your child's care. I'd definitely recommend this school for your little ones!
