All three of our kids have loved going to UMS. The teachers are amazing and the community is supportive. We've had an exceptional time during these formative years. Highly recommend.

Both of my children grew up in the tender and loving care of UMS. I could not have asked for a better home for my children. Teddi, the director, is so experienced and knowledgable about what is right for children, at the right time. She attracts other educators who have similar values and thoughtful approaches to children. There is nothing more I could have asked for during such important developmental periods for my children. I wanted a place where my kids could just be kids before they went to "big" school, yet still learn a good deal to satisfy their natural curiosity. UMS is all of that and more. My older son recently graduated and was more than prepared for kindergarten. The teachers are loving and caring, and very experienced. The kids spend a lot of time outdoors exploring and creating, which was very important to me. And the school community is kind and tight-knit. I am a true believer in the Montessori method (and UMS!) after seeing what this amazing school does every day.

The teachers here are wonderful and caring. The environment is very friendly and my child has a fantastic time there. For such a small building they utilize their space very well. There are multiple playground areas outside and even a huge sandbox. My child LOVES the sandbox.
