My granddaughter attended Alpha Montessori from 2 1/2 -4. She loved school even on the weekend she wanted to go. The education part was excellent. The ability to monitor your children from work was a great feature. I highly recommend for your child education and also social skills.

My two children attended Alpha for 3.5 years. We loved it! Owner, Ms. Emmie, and her staff truly care for and respect the children and families. Weather permitting, there is outdoor play twice daily. They have a few play structures, two swing sets, and yard toys. I like that there is a lot of free play/individual choice play but also a lesson time in the morning. My children learned their ABCs and numbers at age 1. They came home at age 2 one day singing a song about the solar system and could recite the planets in the order from the sun. I’m always impressed by what they come home and share with me! The school was always clean and safely maintained. The facility is on the older side, but I noticed updates were made routinely. Some play materials are older but taken care of – the children do not mind. With the littlest children, there is daily written feedback about their day. We tended to receive verbal feedback from the director when they aged into the pre-k classroom. If there is any type of injury or illness, I always received a phone call. I appreciate the video monitor which I can access on my phone to check in whenever I like. With the school being on the smaller side, I feel like it had more of a family atmosphere. There are small things they incorporate throughout the year that I have enjoyed. Lifetouch comes to take portraits in the Fall. There is a Children’s Hospital toy drive around the holidays and the children help load up the donations. Santa came to visit and brought all the children a new stuffed animal. There are a few seasonal events where all families are invited to come play and eat lunch together. Every day I picked up my children they were happy. 10 out of 10 will always recommend this little school.

We enrolled our twins when they were three and we absolutely loved everything about it! The staff was always patient, loving, and gave them so much guidance. It was great that we were given the chance to introduce them slowly to a school setting with just two days a week. After only a few months we upped it to three days a week since they loved being there. Their teacher would put the lesson plan for the month on the wall by the cubbies so I always knew what they were learning. There was so much play-based learning and outside time that they were able to foster a love of learning for our twins. They would come home knowing so many things. It really prepared them for when they outgrew the school and started a Catholic school last fall. Socially, the absolutely blossomed. They made friends that they are able to keep in touch with very strong bonds. My daughter was shy when she first started but quickly got comfortable and began using her words so much more. I would highly recommend Alpha every single time someone is looking for a preschool.

My son attended Alpha Montessori from when he was 1.5 to 4 years old. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are nurturing and loving of all the children who attend their school. They understand the Montessori philosophy of childcare and are invested in the success of the children through it. I still remember when the director, Ms. Victoria, gave me a tour of the school, thinking ‘how can she keep up this level of passion after so many years’ – and this is coming from someone who is an adamant Montessori follower. Importantly to working parents, they are extremely reasonable and willing to work with you. They incorporate cute little activities throughout the year and have opportunities for parents to join in. My son loves his teachers and does not leave without running to hug both of them. I think this is a wonderful environment for young children and a sigh of relief for busy parents (especially if you’ve been to places that would call you all the time for frivolous reasons like me).

Clean. Family atmosphere. Welcoming. Flexible. Experienced. Caring and compassionate. Daily feedback. Structure and freedom. Safety and adventure. Group play and individual exploration. Happy kids. Happy adults. Satisfied parents. Video monitoring through your phone or desktop. I could gush over several paragraphs, but you've already read what you need to know.

I would highly recommend Alpha Montessori school! Both of my children attended Alpha Montessori from age 12 months through Pre-K and have excelled in academics because Alpha taught them the love of learning!

My son attended this daycare for about 4 to 5 months (he was 14 months old when he started). I was a little skeptical from the beginning because it looks really run down from the outside, but it was better than others that had availability at the time. So we gave it a chance. Teachers seemed just fine for the most part. I didn't get any vibes that they would be abusive or anything crazy. My kiddo seemed to be comfortable with them. But the teachers were not the problem. My initial skepticism proved to be correct. Everyday my son came home with his clothes and his plush toy smelling like mildew. You can smell it when you walk into the facility. A couple of months in, we started seeing dead "water-bugs" aka Large roaches in the bathroom and dining area. I realize we are in an environment that makes them tough to deal with, so i gave the director some home remedies that have proven to be 100% effective for me at home. (Half white vinegar, half water in a spray bottle. Once a week right before you go to bed, spray your faucets, under the sinks, in the tub/sink drains, behind the toilet, behind washer and dryer, or anywhere else there is water inside your home. Let it dry. They never come in.) Not sure if she ever tried them. The worst part of all this.... We came in one Monday morning and there was a hole in the ceiling drywall as BIG AS YOUR CAR WINDSHIELD. The ceiling had fallen in due to moisture/heavy rain directly OVER the tables where the 1 year old class eats. I really wish i would have taken a picture before it was patched up 3 to 4 days later. Thank GOD that happened over the weekend and not during school hours. NO ONE from the facility (director or owner) even acknowledged it or sent out a letter or anything! It was open like that until Wednesday or Thursday of that week with no communication from leadership. I live down the block from this place. IF the roof/leaking has been fixed since then, i sure cannot tell by looking at it from outside. Oh but they got new playground equipment, though! They clearly need to work on their priorities.
