The Academy at Westwood: A Bright Horizons Preschool

We are so grateful for the attention and care our 4 yr old son received at this learning center. The staff are fantastic! Teacher Cheyene so nice and spend quality time with the kids. We are confident our son is in good hands in Westwood Academy.

We had a wonderful experience at the Academy at Westwood. Our toddler attended the school for almost 2 years. During this time, with the help of school's exceptional teachers, Ms. Cheyenne, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Jen, our toddler gained confidence and felt safe and secure. The management, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Daisy provided us with outstanding support. We were always aware of how our child was doing. The school was always responsive to our emails and calls, and they frequently posted updates, videos and photos on the school's app throughout the day. Thank you to all of Academy at Westwood's staff and teachers.

Incredible experience. The staff is attentive, genuinely cared about my daughter, and fully transparent - I have full confidence that I would be made aware of any issues if there were any. The classrooms are small so all children receive ample attention and the teachers are amazing. We receive pictures and videos pretty much daily and the staff puts on many events for both the children and parents. I know my daughter will be safe and cared for at this location - she has grown tremendously from her time at this facility. I would, and have, recommend this facility to any family looking for childcare.

Sent our daughter here starting at 2 years old and she has had the most wonderful time. All the staff and teachers are amazing, and truly cared for her. The school is smaller and the small class size allowed my daughter to be confident in her transition to school, and become close with all of her classmates and teachers. She received so much attention from all the staff, and comes home talking about how much she adores everyone and about all the things she is learning in school. I would highly recommend the Academy to anyone in the area, it is well-run, and such a wonderful learning environment.

Staff is great and caring. We felt confident that when leaving our child there each day she would be safe and engaged. She loved her time there.

Small but clean and neat facility. Teachers are friendly but lack of experiences. More like babysitting not actual school. My son attended here only for a couple of months and left a permanent scar on his face from a scratch. Every time see the scar reminds me the negative experience.

The Academy at Westwood is a great preschool under the Bright Horizon network of schools. We enrolled our son back when he was about 2 years old, it was right in the middle of the COVID pandemic. We felt super comfortable with the safety precautions and all the extra care that management and teachers provided throughout that difficult period. The class size is pretty small, and teachers are all very supportive in teaching my son new things both academically and socially. My son definitely loves going to school every day because he knows its a warm and friendly environment where he can thrive and have a good time while exploring new things. I highly recommend this school for your child if you live in the neighborhood. My spouse and I had a negative experience with this particular school. There was a lack of safety measures from the staff and management, either due to inadequate training or a lack of concern for important matters. We enrolled our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter at this center, but she encountered three major issues within a month. While the facility was impressive, the management and teaching staff were subpar. The only individual we felt grateful for was Elizabeth. We ultimately decided to withdraw our child from the program and enroll her in another school. After two months, our daughter is now content, and we are pleased with the decision.

My son has been very happy here, as have I with the care. The classes are small and very friendly, and the staff wonderful. Everyone was particularly supportive of him when we had recently arrived in LA from the UK.

I highly recommend this preschool! The staff and teachers are kind and friendly. I love how secure and happy the children are here. My 3 year old granddaughter is so happy here. She is safe and has learned so much about good behaviors already.
