My 4yr old has been attending Primrose School of North CO. Springs for about 4 months. This is her first school experience. In the beginning, as expected my little one was not happy with me leaving her at school. She cried for about 2wks. Sorry staff. But with every drop off, I never felt that we weren't welcomed. There was always a smiling face in the classroom. There was always a sense of comfort and care towards my little one. She transitioned from a younger class to help with potty training and I couldn't believe how quickly she learned. Communication was open at all times through their portal system. I was updated constantly of what she was doing and eating. I truly gave me A sense of relief. She's now in an older prekinder class. The transition went very well. Making sure she felt comfortable and never pushing her beyond her comfort level. I'm so happy with how much she's grown in vocabulary and language skills. Her teachers are always welcoming and I could tell she's truly loved and respected. Thank you for everything!

We have loved our time at Primrose! They have been so loving and accommodating with our son. He has therapy sessions every week and they have worked with his therapists. They implement therapists suggestions and do whatever is needed to help my son succeed. Our son continues to thrive and grow here. They also have been very supportive of military families! We can’t say enough positive things about them and the staff!

I would not recommend this facility. Turnover is expected in a daycare, but their turnover rate seemed exceptionally high. I did not feel like my child was being watched adequately. She sustained a few fairly serious injuries while there and one of which I received no communication about, finding out when she showed me a blood soaked bandaid with the cut actively bleeding hours later. There was also a repeated incident of private parts being shown to each other. Some may like prayer at daycare/preschool, but everyone doesn’t use the same terminology or have the same beliefs. My daughter knew a prayer song by heart, which was apparently being sang before lunch. In regards to their summer program, if children didn’t have perfect behavior they would get excluded from the field trips. I was told that children’s names get written on the board during the day for all to see if someone was having unfavored behavior and wouldn’t be able to join the others on a field trip coming up. My child also gave two examples of when they were entirely alone while a teacher was going to the restroom, stating “yeah (fellow student) was dumping out all the toys!”

Our son had amazing time attending the summer camp program at primrose school of north Colorado Springs. The program had a great balance of fun, education, and adventure. The field trips each week were such an amazing idea, offering unique experiences (zoo, mini golf, planetarium). All the teachers and staff are caring and attentive. The meals provided were nutritious and balanced.

Wonderful school with an amazing, caring staff. The assistant director, Ms. Stauber, Continuously goes above and beyond to make sure all needs are met, taken care of, and any issues are handled promptly and professionally. Thank you, Primrose!

Our experience was very subpar at Primrose. When picking up our toddler, my wife had to intervene when an employee was about to put our child on the changing table while it was visibly wet from cleaning solutions. She informed the staff that true bleach or whatever it was needed to be cleaned up before they put children on it. On another occasion we got notification that our child’s clothes were changed due to them being wet. After questioning the matter, we were told she got wet while being changed, We then had to ask more question to come to the conclusion that it was from cleaning solution on the changing table. We are assuming it was bleach because her clothes were bleach stained. Our concern was with our babies skin, not the clothes. Separately, the school was feeding 12-24 month toddlers potato chips for snacks. We were not concerned about the chips being unhealthy, the severe chocking hazard was the issue. After discussing the matter with the director she agreed that it was not an appropriate snack for a toddler and she informed us she would talk to the chef. We also asked for the menu at this, since it was clear it needed a second look. There are multiple locations where it reads “chef’s choice”. When we asked about who would be ensuring that the chef served age appropriate food, the reply was along the lines of, “no one, the chef is trained by the state and knows what is age appropriate.”…..the same chef who fed 12-24 month toddlers potato chips. Lastly, my wife witnessed a teacher be physically rough with 2 toddlers. My wife intervened and exchanged a few words. After telling the director it was clear that she didn’t take the matter seriously (probably because of the two previous incidents I explained). We asked asked that the teacher not be in the same classroom as our child, because she clearly could not control her frustrations while caring for toddlers. The director did not agree with our request so we pulled our child out of Primrose. The director will respond to this review and say that an “investigation” was conducted. However, she did not take a formal statement from my wife on the matter and the investigation consisted of her asking the other teacher in the room (which my wife told the director that her back was turned) and asking the teacher in question. Bottom line, we did not feel that our child was being properly cared for at Primrose. This place could improve with better management and a staff that is held accountable. WARNING!!! As of May 2024, my husband and I pulled our one year old out of this school for a teacher being too aggressive (physically) with the children (Small children, nonetheless) and when brought to the attention of the Director and the owners of the school, not only did they not formally document on this teacher (Mary), they did not tell the other parents of the children involved, but also nothing was ever done about the situation. I, (mom), personally witnessed her being aggressive with children (not even my own) and further requested for this person to NOT be around my child and to either discipline or get rid of her and nothing was ever done. This teacher still works there as of today (June 2024) and the environment is unsafe, especially for infants whom cannot speak for themselves. Furthermore, the Director and owners did not take the complaint seriously and completely dismissed the issue. This school has been reported to the state.

We've had an incredible year! Our son's growth and achievements have been astonishing. Every day, he learns something new and exciting. The well-balanced curriculum implemented efficiently in the classrooms played a huge role in our decision, and it has exceeded all our expectations. We can't wait to see how much he continues to grow next year. Thank you, Primrose!
