Peridot Montessori

Our child started at this school when she was 3 right after COVID and we saw absolutely beautiful progress in her in last 2 years. Teachers are nice and they treated us with great care. Her teacher was Ms Janaki . My child is a big fan of her. She called my child ,when she was in vacation and my child was missing her. They took an excellent care of my child. We are very happy with Peridot Montessori. We are really sad that we couldn't not continue the 3rd year with Ms Janaki. Ms Gretchen started a wonderful Montessori school in Madison which I believe lots of parents are waiting for.She created an safe and nurturing environment in the school. We consider ourselves blessed to be part of Peridot.

I can’t say enough about how absolutely amazing Peridot Montessori is. They changed my sons life for the better!! Gretchen and her whole staff are extremely sweet, caring, welcoming, accommodating, informative, and just overall wonderful. My son learned so many valuable skills, lessons, and experienced so much love in this charming Montessori environment. My son was in the toddler program and thrived under their care. If we didn’t move, we would be at Peridot for as long as possible! I would recommend to every friend, family member, and loved one I know with young kiddos. I love them! Highly recommend.

This school is wonderful!! I toured most every school in the area and then ended my search after touring this one. It is a hidden gem. If you want somewhere that is safe, provides healthy snacks, has a homelike feel, and highly experienced/educated teachers and staff then I highly recommend looking here.

Peridot Montessori has been the absolute best thing for my daughter. They have a very loving and nurturing environment. The teachers take the time to get to know each and every child. The teachers here are all Montessori trained, which is essential for guiding children through the Montessori curriculum. It is a very organized and structured environment. They have a wide array of learning materials and maintain absolute cleanliness. They maintain a great balance with academics, out door activities and hands-on learning. I have been very pleased with my daughter's progress. She went a shy and introverted person and came out as a confident and outgoing person. I would highly recommend Peridot Montessori.

We enrolled our boys in the primary program when they were four. After we moved to Madison, it was really hard to find the right daycare for them. Our first daycare turned out to be a bad experience. Then we found Peridot Montessori and our first impression during the tour was so positive. We observed a peaceful and happy atmosphere among the kids. The primary classroom is in a wonderful bright, newly furnished house and its home-like. And after the comprehensive introduction about the Montessori learning from the teacher, we were convinced that this could be the right place for our kids. And it was the right choice! The kids are now in the 2nd year in the primary program and they are so happy to be there. They really love to go to school. It’s a warm, creative, atmosphere during the daily well-balanced schedule. The team provides instruction while encouraging the creativity and independence of the kids. They also have so much fun to play outside in the garden with their school friends. Our boys have learned so much during this time, socially and academically. I can highly recommend this treasure. Thank you, Peridot Montessori!

Peridot Montessori was a fantastic school for our family. Gretchen has done the best job of building a Montessori School that exemplifies the Montessori model of education. The teachers are fantastic. Janaki and Valerie I could not recommend more highly! We drove about an hour each day for my son to attend here and it was worth it everyday. Thanks for giving my son such a wonderful foundation to build on and a love of learning.
