Our House Montessori

We were incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience our son had at Our House Montessori during his two years there. From day one, the school demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the Montessori philosophy, creating an environment that fostered independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. The teachers and staff were not only warm and nurturing but also deeply knowledgeable about child development and the Montessori approach. They took the time to understand our son's unique personality, strengths, and areas for growth, providing him with the tools and encouragement he needed to thrive. The classroom setup was thoughtfully designed with hands-on learning materials that sparked his curiosity and encouraged exploration. We noticed significant growth in his confidence, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. What truly set Our House Montessori apart was their dedication to preparing children for the transition to kindergarten. Our son developed strong foundational skills in academics, social-emotional learning, and self-discipline, all of which set him up for success in his next chapter. Now in kindergarten at another school, we can see just how well Our House Montessori prepared him for this important transition. We could not recommend Our House Montessori highly enough to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching Montessori experience for their child. It was a joy watching our son grow and flourish in such a supportive environment.

My daughter attended OHM for 4 years and completed their Primary / Kindergarten program. It was a wonderful experience. She truly thrived in the OHM Community. All of the teachers and staff are truly invested in each child. When we started looking at schools for first grade, she was well prepared to take the next step in her learning journey. Her current teachers have remarked on how well she can advocate for herself and others. AT OHM she developed an enjoyment for learning. OHM is a community for both the Children and Parents. I highly recommend OHM.

This is our first year with OHM, and we have a child in both the Primary and Toddler Classrooms. When my nieces went to OHM 13 years ago, I knew I would send my kids there when the time came. We couldn't be happier with our decision, as OHM fosters a unique, independent, and nurturing space for the kids, but also the COOLEST VIBE! Our kids are learning and maturing every day, and it's awesome to be a part of the OHM family!

OHM is more than a school. It is truly a family. Our family is lucky to be a part of the OHM family. Our son has been a student for 4 years at the school and it is a Gem. The school is special and unique which is why we drive across town despite living in proximity to other Montessori schools in our neighborhood. Each child gets individualized attention. They explore the city, they explore culture, and art. Sam, Paige & the teachers are all extremely accommodating , especially with every day life emergencies and issues. I just cannot speak highly enough of the school. They teach the children to become model world citizens and our son has developed a solid foundation for his education.

Our House Montessori is a unique, beautiful, and imaginative place with very caring and fun good people teachers. The house, outdoor space, music, language classes, and frequent outings and events provide the kids with environments that inspire healthy growth and curiosity. Our son flourished there and got lifelong foundations for appreciating independence, work, play, and camaraderie. Highly recommend!

To say this school is amazing is an understatement. It's hard to put into words what Our House Montessori meant to our family - they are warm, kind, and loving; they are progressive, quirky, and fun; and they are wonderful teachers - educating on everything from daily life skills and Montessori-based lessons, to teaching about the world our kids are growing up in. This was not just a school but a second home for our kids, which is what I wanted most of all for my daughters. They loved every day and everyone at Our House, and they felt supported and empowered every minute they were there.

Sent both my children here for the Toddler and Primary years and would do so again in a heartbeat! Attentive and loving staff that treat your children like their own. Plus, healthy and delicious meals prepared for the kids every day. An amazing community that we are lucky to be a part of!

OHM is a truly special place. Our oldest kid and is now a kindergartener and has been with OHM since he was 18months. Our youngest started this year. It’s therefore been a long, trustful partnership. OHM is an integral part of our family and indeed, the most wonderful partner in educating our kids during their most sensitive and formative years. It is a place run by uniquely caring individuals and that resonates with the kids who love going to school. We can’t recommend enough!

Our House Montessori provided our son with an enriching educational experience while also showing empathy, compassion and teaching independence and self advocacy. This place is truly a gem!
