Montessori Academy - AMI Accredited

Over half the staff at this school has turned over in the past year. The new head of school is very dishonest, rude to parents and children, and disrespectful towards the staff. One of the very experienced primary class teachers left abruptly last year because of the way she was treated by the head of the school, after which on a zoom call with all parents present the head of school said “she would not hold anyone’s money hostage” if they wanted to pull out their children for the following year due to the change in teacher. We have not receive a penny back yet a year later, they event kept the following year’s deposit. The other alarming thing to me was how many students needed an IEP when transferring to public school from grade 1. I didn’t think my daughter received the type of attention or help I would expect from a Montessori school.

We love this school. Ms. Ratna and Ms. Candice in the toddler classroom are amazing. They are supportive and kind to all of the toddlers. My son comes home talking about them and are excited to see them everyday. We love this school and have had only positive experiences even through the pandemic.

Great school with wonderful teachers, well organized and grounded in good values. My son has started in toddler class, finished primary and is now in elementary. We love it!

Our son, now a second grader at our local public school, had a wonderful experience in the Primary program at MANJ. His teacher fostered in him a love of learning that to this day is the root of his intellectual curiosity and his success and work ethic both in and out of school.

Lucky to have this school for my child. Very experienced teachers and staff. Children having guidance in every aspect. School children are very kind and supportive. No experience of bullying at all. :)
