Applied to Monticello Charter since June, got an email on July that she is still on the waiting list. I went to the office to make inquiries and they were furious because I did not make an appointment. It is now August 12th and haven't heard if accepted or not. All they said they have not reach my grand daughter's name yet. They must have 100 of applicants that it takes them that long to get to my grand daughters name. The kind of treatment deserve not even 1 star but I gave them one as of now.

My mental health is absolutely terrible, the kids are not maintained and the teachers can be abusive.

Absolutely horrible for mental health the bullies run the school. There is absolutely nothing done to prevent or stop bulling. Class sizes are huge, much larger than public school. They can't keep a good teacher to save their lives. Carpool is extreemly dangerous.

Yes this school has a good education base but its the kids, when i went there i went many times to the counselor asking them about me being bullied and no one helped i got helped once, the school used to be good four years ago when i was in fourth grade im heading onto high school in the fall and im still not over the fact that i got bullied from all this bulling i turn suicidal and yes this school has some good teachers like i learned a lot in math and history but its the kids they don't care about they rather decide to look good then actually care of about the kids like once me and my parents didn't have enough money to buy new uniform for myself and everyday a teacher would keep asking me to buy new pants and i kept explaining i don't have enough money they care about how the school looks then about the kids mental health

food disgusting, most students are horrible no matter what, some teachers are "o.k." the only thing I liked was my friends.

I appreciate how focused the school is on helping my children develop skills and understanding aimed and helping them become successful and well-rounded adults. History, science, math, and a wide range of literature has allowed my eight year old to converse with others in a knowledgable way.
