Sunrise Montessori Preschool

My daughter attends SMS Bountiful and has a great time. Previous daycares, while good, didn’t go the extra step to make sure that our little girl was well taken care of. The teachers do their best to teach the students in a well rounded way. We hope to send our second child there in the future.

Two years ago I take my 4 years old boy with autism,to this place We talked to a lady and told her that my child could have autism at that time we didn't have a diagnosis yet. My child started playing with some toys that were in one of the rooms when we told him to go, my child started crying and fell to the floor for a moment. The lady who attended to us, I don't know if she was the person in charge of the place, told us that he would take him somewhere else because they couldn't have him there even though he had previously told us that he did have autistic children in that place.My wife and I feel helpless because we feel that there was discrimination against my child with autism. Thank God we found another place where they welcomed him wholeheartedly and he did well. I hope this does not happen again to other parents with children with this condition. Many things may be said about it, but we did not have a good experience here!

I would give 10 stars if I could! Their staff is wonderful! Its a family owned business and they really love the children! We had to move and change schools but we miss Sunrise Montessori so much, it was my kids first school and we have only great things to say about this school! Thank you for everything you guys do and for your love for the children :)!

We moved to the area from DC and our daughter had been in a very challenging and academically rigorous program with moderate Spanish immersion and we were looking to continue that level of education here in Utah. We toured multiple schools and found a perfect fit at Sunrise Montessori. It is truly an atmosphere that inspires learning and inclusion for all students, and allows children to learn at their own pace without being left behind or constricted by their fellow students' abilities- a key cornerstone of the Montessori Method! My three year-old knows about the Milky Way and can draw our galaxy, sing songs in Spanish, read, and do addition and subtraction. She is taught to value and respect everyone and everything in our community, as well as common courtesies and manners. Most importantly, my daughter wakes up every day excited to get to school so she can learn more things from her beloved "Teacher Liz." I cannot recommend Sunrise Montessori highly enough.

It's the best place ever for you kids to learn,and have fun. Teachers Liz, Martha, Flor, are the best!! My little one loves her school 😀
