Montessori Peace Academy

We were one of many families who left the Montessori school around the corner to come here. Our only regret is not doing it sooner! Our family has been at 3 different Montessori schools over 12 years and it doesn’t get any better than this. It’s the real deal! My only complaint is that Montessori Peace Academy didn’t open sooner. This is just what Ahwatukee needed - if you’re debating or wondering if this is the right school for your kiddo, this is as good as it gets, amazing!. Ms. Lauren is an incredible and warm teacher who is experienced, professional and loving! Our child grew leaps and bounds in every area in her class.

It was a pleasure and privilege to have Ms. Lauren spend her intern year in the classroom with me. I had completed my Montessori training twenty years prior. The year was a phenomenal success due to Ms. Lauren’s presence. I learned so much from watching her with the children. Lauren embodies the Montessori philosophy , “ Follow the child “. She took each child where they were. Lauren reviewed concepts they struggled with and moved to new lessons when the child was ready. She modeled the behavior she expected from the children and got it! She was empathetic but firm. She was loving and kind and respected each child. And they respected her and their classroom community. When my granddaughter left her toddler classroom, she went to Ms. Lauren ‘s class. If you are lucky enough to work with Lauren in partnership for your child’s foundation for life and school, it will be one of the greatest gifts you will give them.

I am amazed at how much thought has been put into keeping kids safe during a pandemic. Procedures and policies have been designed to go the extra mile during this very difficult time. Parents concerned about the safety of sending their kids back into the classroom this fall should check out this school.

Lauren is one of the most genuine, caring and compassionate teachers in the Montessori community. Everyone and everything she touches turns to gold. Her knowledge, patience and leadership are unparalleled. I highly recommend Montessori Peace Academy!

Ms Lauren was made to be a Montessori teacher. She is calm, patient and creative. I highly recommend her and her school!

Our daughter got to work with Ms. Lauren at her previous school and both our daughters have spent the last two summers learning with her. She is so dedicated to the education of the kids and the individual needs of each student. She was born for this. I cannot recommend this school enough. The space is amazing and each kid is such a priority.
