Casa de Montessori School

Casa de Montessori has been the most incredible blessing for our family! We were instantly in love and put at ease when we toured, and that feeling of security in our decision has only grown over the last 4 months since we started this school year! Our son started at 14mos, and it was the first time he’d been away from us for any period of time. The teachers are simply incredible in their compassion, knowledge, and skill. We have seen so much incredible growth in our son in all areas of development, though above all in his independence and confidence! He always wants to get his own plate or bowl at home to serve himself snack, is starting to pull his pants down independently when it’s time to change his diaper, is trying to put his own shoes and socks on, and his language skills are exploding both with English and Spanish words! It is evident how much he loves it there and how much the teachers love the students and what they do! We are so lucky to have found Casa de Montessori and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone we meet!

My son has only been attending for almost 2 months and he has learned so much already. After touring a few school I always had my eye on this school, now that my son is attending he has made tremendous progress in his self skills and he is almost learning to talk. I will forever be grateful for the care and kindness my son receives at this school.

Best decision we have made for our daughter! We looked at tons of schools and programs and after two minutes into the tour at Casa, we just knew this was the perfect place for her. Ms. Jenny, Ms, Mary and all the staff have created a warm and supportive environment that stems even outside of school. They let the kids grow and experience so much more than just the traditional. She’s so excited to continue this summer and next school year.

I just wanted to update my review now that both my children have completed another year at CDM. They have both flourished under the wonderful care of all the teachers. We look forward to daily reports and pictures of exciting daily activities. There was a large range of themes and topics covered and I know the kids gained worldly knowledge from all the learning fun. We loved seeing the children engaged in gardening and all the interesting things they would come home and share. We truly admire how experienced and hands on the teachers are with the children throughout the day. My children look forward to attending daily! Highly recommend CDM!!! As we wrap up teacher appreciation week, I just want to thank and let everyone know how much my family and I love all the wonderful teachers at Casa De Montessori. Choosing the right place for my 18 month old was one of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make. I’ve taught in a pre-k class for 5 years and been an assistant director for 3 years so I really wanted to make sure we would find the best place for her. Sadly the pandemic made this even more difficult than anticipated as she was unable to socialize with anyone. We toured various centers and never felt like they were what we were looking for. From the moment we entered Casa De Montessori and Maestra Mary showed us around, I knew in my gut this was certainly the right place. A few days later we got to meet the amazing toddler teacher and were sure to sign her up. Maestra Flor really aided my daughter with this huge transition in such a smooth manner. She is so caring and always comforted her In ways that made her feel so safe and loved that it only took my little girl a week of crying at drop off. I’ve seen her flourish over the last 6 months in such a positive way. It only gets better..! Maestra Jenny has been a phenomenal lead teacher in this short time span. My daughter boasts about all the fun she’s had and is constantly singing with joy (in Spanish !). I love the practical life skills they master from such a tender age. It’s fantastic getting pictures and updates about how the day is going along side activities my child engaged in. Maestra Mary goes above and beyond to support you and your child with anything you may be going through. I really appreciate how she is so active in changing up materials and incorporating diversity in the learning. They all have the child’s best interest at heart and are always doing things to better the kids and school. Overall I could not be happier with the decision of starting here and highly recommend this wonderful Montessori to everyone!!

We love Casa De Montessori! I’m so glad that I decided to tour this school over the summer. I’m not kidding when I say that I toured at least 10 other schools in the area before seeing this one and none of them compared! We knew within a few minutes of talking to Ms.Mary that this was the school for our daughter. She is the sweetest and Ms. Mariah, her assistant is wonderful as well. I tell everyone how much we love our daughter’s school and her teacher. It is worth every penny. We also love the fact that it is bilingual. We were able to tell after a few weeks in that she was already picking up and learning new things from school. We are so grateful that our daughter is able to go here and learn from such a wonderful teacher. The pictures and updates we get throughout the week are a plus! We plan on putting our new baby in this school once she is ready as well.

Words are not enough to describe our experience with Mary and her team at Casa de Montessori. Our daughter is in her third year with Mary at Casa de Montessori and we wish her time there would never end. The care and dedication she receives on a daily basis has been phenomenal. If you can send your child to Casa de Montessori don't hesitate. You will be so happy!

Casa de Montessori and Maestra Mary are the best things that could have happened to our family! Mary is experienced, kind, thorough, and patient and creates an environment that gives each kid space to be themselves, grow, flourish, and be curious about the world. The school is well organized, and my son's mind and body are engaged every day. I love how much outdoor time they are able to provide, the diversity of experiences, and how the children are encouraged to care for each other and the world around them.

A child's teacher is one of the most important people in their lives. A great teacher is able to provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment to foster a love of learning. That is exactly what you will experience at Casa De Montessori. Ms. Mary and Ms. Jenny provide such an excellent environment for my two children to flourish as growing individuals. Ms. Jenny works daily to foster curiosity and help young toddlers learn to manage their emotions. She frequently sends home emails with links to resources for how to implement things from school at home. She cares about each of the toddlers in her room and it shows through her words and actions. My youngest son comes home at the end of each day and tells me that he had a good day, which is fantastic to hear. My oldest son absolutely loves Ms. Mary and thinks she is the best teacher in the world, and she is fantastic. Ms. Mary provides many resources in the classroom that allow for children to learn through exploration and play. I love how the children have structure yet freedom throughout the day to follow their interests. In addition, they meditate daily, which is a valuable activity to practice. One last important aspect of the school is their focus on diversity, they frequently read books about people from many different backgrounds and family structure. As a two mom household this commitment to diversity is very important to us and one reason we love the school so much. What else can I say except, take a tour and I think you'll love the school as much as we do.

We have truly enjoyed our time at Casa de Montessori. Both the toddler and children's house provide opportunities to grow emotionally, physically and mentally. We are thankful to the amazing staff who truly care about our kids! The enviornment is great, I highly recommend checking it out, especially the outdoor space where the kids are involved in caring for their own toys, garden etc. You really can't go wrong, every person who works here will treat your child like they are their own!

We love Casa de Montessori! Our 2.5 year old is in the Toddler House and is thriving. It is a magical place - I completely trust her in their care. It is a respectful learning environment and we have personally learned so much about Montessori and how to apply the principles in our parenting. They have also been absolutely instrumental in our daughter's toilet learning journey. It is also bilingual and there is a strong emphasis on celebrating diversity and inclusion. So so happy we enrolled here!!
