Montessori Academy of Culver City

Our daughter has attended Montessori Academy of Culver City (MACC) for the past 4 months. During that time we have gotten to know the administrators and our daughter's teachers. My wife and I feel very fortunate to have our daughter attend MACC. She has made obvious improvements in her social skills, something we were worried about after more than 1 year of staying home during Covid. She is much better at playing with her peers, sharing, and taking turns. She is also showing greatly improved play skills, understanding of letters & numbers, and an increasing vocabulary. Her teachers have been exceptional, and have clearly gone above and beyond to understand our daughter and customize their approach for her specific needs.

I love MACC the very special staff with children and excellent teaching.

Absolutely adore the loving and inclusive culture they have at MACC. Recommend it highly to anyone looking for a kind, wonderful place for their child to grow and development.

Wow. I was curious as to if this school still existed, so I did some googling to find out. I’m currently feeling incredibly emotional just thinking about the fact that I found it. I went to MACC from preschool to part of second grade. I’m now in 12th grade. This school made a massive impact on my life, and I have countless fantastic memories surrounding it. When I attended MACC, I was known as Audrey Couch. I changed my name to Audrey Caldwell, and that is the name I go by now. My mother is Joni Caldwell (now known as JC). The teachers I had were Ms. Melody, Ms. Gabby, and Ms. Avalos. All three of them took me under their wing and cared for me like I was their own. The day I found out about Ms. Avalos’ passing, my heart broke like it never had before. This was the first time death had reared its ugly head at me. She was my school mom. She and I loved each other so much. All three of my teachers helped me with my very bad separation anxiety by being the most loving and comforting people I could have asked for. This school was my second home. I will forever be grateful and have love in my heart for MACC. If you are considering sending your child here, do it. I urge you, as an alumni that had an outstanding experience, to send them here. You won’t regret it. Every second of my time here was stellar. I will always love MACC. Thank you for being my second home.

I am so grateful for the experience my son had at MACC. They do an incredible job of balancing academics, play and teaching the kids life skills. The school is very diverse which we LOVED and has an inclusive, loving, kind culture. Our son has come away from there with a sensitive, compassionate nature, and the ability to make friends with ease. He is academically a grade ahead and excelling at kindergarten. I can't thank Ms Ruhi or the teachers enough because they have been so instrumental in all his successes. Love this school dearly and would recommend to anyone.

This is 3rd year of my daughter in MACC, she loves going to Ms melody's class. She is learning awesome stuff every day. What a nurturing environment. Thank you Ms. Melody for being so awesome
