McFalls Academy

Enrolling my son in McFalls Academy is the best educational decision I have ever made. The school is Black owned, Christian based, and truly provides my son with a well rounded education. Mrs. Mcfalls is extremely educated, passionate, and dedicated to each student. The school house method works so well for my son because he still receives individualized learning and goals/expectations are set for him based on where he is currently. Most importantly, at McFalls Academy we are a family! I highly recommend this school!

My daughter just completed her first year at McFalls academy. She has grown so much socially and emotionally, as well as academically. The teachers work one on one to develop a lesson plan personalized to each student and their learning ability/pace. Every day after school my daughter comes home excited to share what she learned. This school is a family. The teachers love the kids and the kids love each other. It’s an encouraging, positive, most important Christ centered atmosphere for your child to thrive. We haven’t even been on summer break for a full week yet and my daughter is already asking when school starts again. I love that she has found a place she feels safe and seen. One where she is encouraged to be who God made her to bed and cultivate her gifts further.

I would recommend parents for this summer program as well as enrollment for the upcoming school year! I love the multi-child discount we received! My twins are 8 and this Summer was their first experience attending a private camp. What they enjoyed most were the weekly field trips, weekly themes and getting to know the owner/instructor. My children have attended other public camps offered in Jefferson County, but when asked if they wanted to go back, the answer was a definite NO. They made friends and enjoyed the small community! Because of the personalized approach Mrs. McFalls practices in her instruction, my children have not only demonstrated growth in their subject areas, they have also gained much strength in their faith in our Lord and Savior.

We loved our time at McFalls Academy. My son benefited academy, socially, and emotionally! He was there for preschool (4 years old). The small class size and diversity were exactly what we were looking for! Mrs McFalls and Ms Olivia go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of the students. The only reason we didn’t continue is because we moved out of state. McFalls is revolutionizing education, and filling a gap for diverse private education in the city.

McFalls Academy’s highly qualified teachers have had such an incredible impact on our son! The inclusive curriculum to meet children where they are and to encourage and challenge them to be the best versions of themselves. Highly recommend and so thankful McFalls Academy was recommended to our family!

At the beginning of her teaching career, Mrs. McFalls was an elementary teacher in a public school where I was principal. I had the privilege of observing her build a community in which students were honored, respected, and engaged in thoughtfully designed learning activities. When she decided to follow her passion and create a Christ-center learning academy, I continued to follow the amazing way she met her students needs, assisted them as they honed their skills and developed deeper understanding and compassion. She is an expert teacher with a strong moral compass.
