La Petite Louisville means so much to me and my family, I could never capture it in a review. We consider ourselves so lucky to have this village of amazing teachers and staff looking after our two daughters. We started our oldest there as a toddler 2.5 years ago, and we plan to stay until kindergarten (even though we moved and now live 20 minutes away). This is more than a daycare; it’s a community. Just walking into the building, you can feel it’s something special. Many staff members have been there for decades. Jodie, the director, does a remarkable job keeping the school thriving (despite challenges such as industry-wide staffing shortages). Besides the teachers, here are my other favorite things about La Petite: -They serve breakfast, lunch, and snack. No need to pack food. -Teachers send frequent pictures and updates through the SproutAbout app about the kids’ meals, sleep, activities, etc. -Cameras livestream the classrooms, and you can watch on the app. I haven’t heard of another school that does this. I value this feature so much (especially when my girls were first starting out). Popping into the stream to see what my girls are up to makes me feel connected to their day. Dropping kids off at daycare for the first time can be excruciatingly difficult. But “it takes a village”, and La Petite is a huge part of our village. To know that my daughters are safe, happy, learning, and loved is the greatest gift. Thank you <3

This place has been such a blessing to me and my son. Jodie and Rachel really care about these kids and run an incredibly inclusive and loving school. His teachers are the most amazing women, my heart rests easy knowing he’s loved on and cared for at an individual level. He learns and develops so much here. They take the sweetest photos throughout the day and you have access to the classroom camera. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a trustworthy daycare ❤️

My experience with this school was strange. My son wasn’t there a full month got send home 4 times. Because of Behavioral Issues I totally understand that If I needed to take my son for extra support I would do everything possible. He got suspended with no plan on how to help him or they never intended to try before making the decision to not allow him back( They talk to me briefly about they were going to try research on something to help but no plan on what they were going to do never heard back) . They were clueless on what do to and they are claimed to be “ Quality Daycare”. The words I got from Jodie was “ I need to protect my kids” to me It didn’t felt like she cared about mine. “We can’t help him because there is 20 kids in one setting. Maybe he’ll do better in a smaller school” to me it felt that she didn’t care about giving him a little bit more support. My son was described so horrible that I didn’t even believe it was my son. If he did those things? What was the reason behind it? There must of been something going on. I started watching cameras more consistently though out the day and Caught 1 specific teacher being rude towards my kid twice and when brought up to the Director they basically dismissed me. I reported to the County because they weren’t following their policies when it came to suspension. Lied to the Licensing that they were trying to talk to me and come up with the plan. I had to take an emergency leave of work because they were putting my job on the line to figure out what I was going to do. When I came back to take my son there never did they came up to me to see how they were going to support him or they never even try to talk to me. This place is a joke. I do not recommend you taking your children here. Update: 2 weeks into my son’s new school. He is doing well and he hasn’t done anything like the way this school was describing him. So makes me wonder there was something happening that I was not seeing or my son couldn’t communicate with me. Again I tend not to comment on these sort of things but I also think the way they treated me and my son is so unfair and the way they made me feel.

Both of my daughters have been at La Petite in Louisville since they were 12 weeks old. Now my oldest is going into kindergarten. Cannot say enough about the Director and the entire staff, most of which have been there for a decade or more - caring, creative, and amazing caretakers.

Our family loves La Petite! I attended when I was little, as well as my younger sisters, so when it came to finding a facility for my boys we had to choose La Petite in Louisville! They are trust worthy and very straightforward! My youngest started at 18months and it was such a smooth process! And the ability to check in on the webcams and get app notifications is such an amazing perk! We love Jodie and the team at La petite! And it’s obvious they love our littles just as much!

We love La Petite. The director does a great job of running the school smoothly and keeping in touch with parents. You can also tell that she really cares about the children and their families. This school is set up for working parents who need reliable childcare and it is wonderful to have a place we can count on. The teachers are caring and responsible. We get updated throughout the day about what the kids are doing, what they had for lunch, if they napped, etc. Our daughter is 4 and she loves school. She has been going there for 1 1/2 years and we haven’t had any issues. Highly recommend.

La Petite has been truly amazing and a saving grace for my family. This place has provided us with not only quality care but also a loving environment and peace. My children love attending there and never want to go home. They provide nutritious food, clean safe environment, educational activities, creative activities and just help each of my boys in areas that meets their needs in age appropriate things as well as things they need to meet milestones. I previously had them at another center in the area and I unfortunately worked there as well and despite working there, We all were miserable. It was a horrible experience. After quitting I never wanted to take my kids to daycare again but unfortunately I have to work and they have to be somewhere. It was extremely difficult to make that decision again to need care but at this center it puts you at ease to know you can watch them at anytime but also everyone who works there have HUGE hearts. It truly shows they love their job because they go above and beyond for the kids. They all have different hats they put on to-do their job and they do it so gracefully and with a smile. I cannot brag about this place enough. It has been such a blessing for relief to know my kids will be loved and adore like they are their own. La Petite is not a daycare center but an extended family watching family's kids while educating, loving and going above and beyond to ensure kids always come first. If you need a center for work or for your children this is the place to be!
