Both of my kids attended Liberty Montessori School, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers are incredibly kind, loving, and responsible. They’ve created a nurturing environment where my kids felt supported and motivated to learn. The curriculum is outstanding, covering essential skills like phonics, reading, writing, and math. I’ve been amazed at how much progress both of my kids made academically during their time here. Beyond academics, the school fosters independence and a love for learning, which has been wonderful to see. We’re so grateful for the care and dedication of the staff. Highly recommend this school to any family looking for a strong educational foundation in a warm and caring environment!

If you are a family that recently moved from the city looking for a local preschool, I would not recommend this school. There were many issues we had with the administration and when I left a negative comment on another social media platform, the teacher of my kids class somehow found out, called my cell after hrs and demanded to know why my kid is still attending the school. I spoke with the director who admitted the teacher was at fault and then proceeded to get 2 different lawyers to tell us we needed to sign an NDA which we still have documentation of. The administration and communication is not organized nor is it a warm environment. If you are considering this school, please save your time and money and look for another school instead. My child was heart broken over the teacher and admin's behavior.

For aquatics staff who are ready to expand themselves outside of working at the pool this is definitely the best school to get your feet wet and see what it is like to be in a school environment. Also, to start your career in a school setting Montessori way. My advice I would like to give for future teachers is you have to go through the hard times in order to make it through the light under the tunnel and to be open minded to what classrooms you will be assigned to help out with. Always find something to do to help in the classroom. Make sure you help out the lead teachers and be there for them and to be open to listening(Be willing to help out no matter what). My last advice is please listen to Dr.Jagcoda’s, the head teachers and Ms.Pherra’s advice they are only trying to help you succeed and help you grow to be the best teacher you can be and take their advice as them trying to help you. Lastly, there’s always someone who can help you please don’t be afraid to ask for help because help is always there if you don’t know what to do in the classroom. I wish this school nothing but the best and success.

My daughter is absolutely thriving at Liberty Montessori. The teachers are phenomenal and the curriculum is clearly effective. Our daughter has learned independence, self-confidence, and kindness in addition to her ABCs and 123s. We also appreciate the focus on diversity and multiculturalism. We will also be sending our youngest daughter there next year without hesitation.

Our daughter has attended Liberty for the last two years. She has had fantastic teachers (Sang and Ferrera) and has made terrific strides in reading, language, social skills and more. Class sizes are small and plenty of teachers/supervision. She even gets exposure to Spanish, German, and Japanese! Overall we have been very happy with Liberty and recommend it to others.

This school discriminates against children who don’t fit the perfect ideal. My child needs a walker and a 1:1 aide and after dealing with him for 2 years perfectly capably they told us not to return for a third year because of safety concerns. At least that’s what they said in an email. On the phone they said it’s because he takes up the space of two children. Happy to take our money for two years but then when they obviously have full books they no longer need us. Oh, and he had to leave school two weeks early for major surgery. Did they reach out to us to se how he was? I think you know the answer.

My son spent 2 years with Liberty Montessori (first year in New Rochelle branch, and second year in Mamaroneck). There was not a single day he didn't enjoy going there. Director Dr. Jagoda, wonderful, competent and nurturing teachers, including for art and languages, and the staff - the whole team makes it very hard for us to leave now, as we are moving out of state. My son is a better person, because of his time at this school. Definitely recommend to anyone considering it.
