My daughter attends the afterschool program in Tinley park, and the 2 ladies there are absolutely amazing! Ms. Jessica and Ms. Love take great care of my 5 year old, and I'm so appreciative of them. They are always keeping the kids busy with crafts and activities. Thanks for all you do! We are very grateful!

The only reason I would even give it a 1 star is because it’s a convenient before and after school program that is there at the school. However Lisa in HR and Cindy the billing coordinator are very unprofessional it’s blasphemous. I had a issue with being sent the wrong billing portal that I didn’t know was wrong for 4 weeks in which Cindy called about the balance and did not assist me with providing the correct website and stated “regardless you have a balance due” when I asked for help. And texts me “just making sure you have made arrangements for your child until you’re able to pay your past due balance”. My child also stated when he asks the staff if they can tie his shoes for him they tell him “no tie your own shoe” mind you he’s only 6. So I reach out to Lisa in HR to express my concerns and she becomes very rude also. She starts to state how long she has known Cindy and how long she has worked there for and said sorry if I felt that way as if they’re really close friends. and says she will tell the staff to tie the kids shoes however still not addressing any one’s attitudes. She says she is not in Cindy’s department so will not go back and forth with me about her so when I asked if there’s some one else to speak to she told me no. I’m so disappointed and having a hard time trusting this program with my child anymore. Update oct 1st 2024 My son has only been in Ivy League this year for one day. I keep my card locked for my own personal reasons and since they called my phone and left a voicemail not even 5 minutes later they called my job with an attitude demanding a payment after I already paid for my child to attend this week! This is the most unprofessional place I ever had my child in

We attend the Manteno location and I can't say enough positive things about this program. My kids love going! The counselors are always interacting with the children and coming up with fresh ideas to keep things fun for the kids. They're very communicative and I always feel safe with my children in their care.

My kids have attended Ivy League at a couple different locations and never have talked so positively about their counselors like they do about Justin P and Mikayla B. These 2 really go above and beyond for these kids. My kids transferred to a new school mid year and Justin and Mikayla have gone out of their way to make them feel welcomed and keep me involved with every aspect of their after school care. Thank you so much for caring for my kids so well Justin and Mikayla!

This is my second year that my kids have attended the before school program at Ivy League Kids. Since the beginning, we have had issues with the billing department. When my children first started, we were not being billed correctly. They were charging me different prices for my children that attended the same amount of days. Once that was resolved, they stopped billing me all together. It went unnoticed on my end and on theirs until one day I got a letter from I’ve League saying that I have a $700 balance because of a mistake on their end. I agreed to set up a payment plan to pay extra on my weekly bill until the balance was paid off because that was a huge amount to pay on the spot. The next day, the FULL remaining balance was taken out of my bank account. I called and they said it was their mistake and they would refund my card immediately. I told them it was fine and to prevent any more hassle, I would pay whatever was owed even though it was a large amount. I called not to long after for a minor issue and I brought up the mistake that was made last time. The same woman from the billing department (Cindy, I think) told me that I was never charged that much money and made it seem like the mistake never happened after looking through my records. She made me feel like I was crazy. So after our conversation, I went back sifting through my bank statements and saw that one charge was for around $500 and one was around $200 something. That is why she said I was never charged for $700, but we all know that when you add them up they do in fact equal $700. Recently, there was an issue with an Illinois School Bus Driver that transports my children from Ivy League to their main school. The school driver put her hands on my child and there is an open investigation being pursued. The bus driver is still on the route until they resolve the investigation. For my child's safety, I cannot allow her on the bus that takes her from Ivy League to school. I have arranged other means for my children to get to school until I know the next steps. I called Ivy League and explained the situation and the billing department said there was nothing they could do and even though my children would not be attending, they would be keeping my money for this week and the next because it was already charged. I expressed my frustration with all of this being out of my hands. The women from the billing department said that this week I would have to pay, even though they only attended one day and she that would see what she could do for the following week and get back to me that day. I never received a call back from her and called the next day to speak with a manager. They did in fact offer to refund my card for the following week. I told them they can keep it as a credit for now because everything is still up in the air. I still was charged for this week even though my children could not attend for their own safety. The lack of empathy towards the situation is really what bothered me. I knew they could refund my card because of the previous incident when they offered it because it was convenient for them. Now, my child's safety is at risk and they basically said “oh well”, in regards to my money. If your children attend here, please pay attention to your billing statements! If you have other options for places for your child to attend, I would seek those instead. I will give them 2 stars because the people who work at the Kerkstra location are fabulous. The billing department could definitely use some improvement.
