We have loved having our son enrolled in International Montessori House of Children. Under their care and teaching he has truly blossomed. Can’t recommend this school and its educators enough!!

It's incredible to see an authentic Montessori school in action. The children who go all the way through the program show advanced social-emotional skills in addition to advanced academic work. The teachers are loving and knowledgeable. There is an atmosphere of peace during the children's work time that allows them to concentrate and grow. Teachers here have a deep understanding of the Montessori method and how to apply it in a way that helps children in this school to thrive. It is so refreshing to see a school that diligently works to meet the needs of the children in their care.

We are very happy to be at IMHOC. Great teachers and admin. My kids never want to leave school and have learned so much. Highly recommend.

The teachers and staff at IMHoC are so kind and knowledgeable in Montessori. IMHoc is attentive to my son, Tom. I cannot say enough good things about this school! We came to this school from another Montessori - I highly recommend.

Wonderful, warm teachers. I very much appreciate the accessibility of the school’s leadership. Their app for communicating with teachers and administrators is so easy, and they’re all quite responsive. It’s a great community, and my daughter couldn’t be happier.

My family absolutely love this school. Our almost 5-year-old son has been going to this daycare since he was 2 y.o. Mrs. Ambreen and Mrs. Neela (currently retired) are both beyond fantastic. There’s no doubt that my son loves his teachers and talks about them all the time and it’s truly amazing the things he’s learned since he’s been here. Love of learning, respect for the work they do, peace and manners are instilled and reflected in the eyes of each child. The school director Jennifer is very involved and cares about the wellbeing and safety of our kids and teachers. They've been very effective at following all health protocols for COVID. We’re honored to have our son at International Montessori and see how he’s developing and blooming on his own pace. Huge kudos to all IMHOC team.

I meant to write this review a while back but life has been hectic (sorry its long but I want to give my honest opinion of the school). My daughter started going to IMHOC at 18 months, she is 4 years old now. Transferring her to this school has been the best choice I could've ever made for her. Her teachers are incredible, she is learning a lot, she gets home in the evenings and talks about the different things that she has learned during the day, things I could not have known at 4 years old. She'll have a discussion about the planets in our Solar System, she'll list all the continents, she told me that Alaska was the biggest state (here I am thinking it was Texas, the shame). The big highlight is, she CAN READ, did I mentioned that she's only 4? Not just memorizing pages, she recognizes the words and sounds out the letters. I would've attach a clip to this review but it only allows for pictures. Her current teacher Ms. Ambreen and former teacher Ms Aline are true gems, I could not have been more pleased to have these wonderful women help teach my child everything she knows. I'm mentioning these two ladies because they are/were her primary teachers but Ms Sathya who now helps Ms. Ambreen and all the other teachers that works there are all amazing. Let's talk about Covid, I think the school shut down for about 2 months during the peek of Covid, I can't remember exactly the length of time they were closed, but they resumed operations in mid June I think. My daughter has been back for about 3 months now and they have had no cases. The cleaning regiment and the safety protocol implemented is beyond anything I could've imagined. First, no parent is allowed inside the building, the teachers come outside to get the kids out of the cars, all the teachers wear masks, they spray the bottom of the shoes and sanitize the hands of each child upon entry, backpacks are left outside and sprayed first before being taken inside. At pick up, I either call the school to let them know I am outside or send a text message on their Brightwheel app to let them know I am outside and they bring my daughter to my car. One of the Friday's, I went to pick up my daughter, we were still in the parking lot and all of the parents came and left, we were the only car still in the parking lot. My daughter decided that she needed to use the bathroom and driving home was not feasible without her having an accident, so, we rang the doorbell, Jennifer came and opened the door, she had on gloves and was in the midst of cleaning and sanitizing (she's the CEO), the teachers were wiping down and spraying down the windows and tables. Seeing that, made me realize that although my motivation for sending her was primarily for her mental health, it was even more reassuring to myself that I have made the right choice. Seeing how much effort and time the WHOLE team at IMHOC puts in to make sure that every child was safe, is peace of mind on another level and for that I am grateful, and that's why I will be sending all of my kids to this school until they are too old to attend.
