Montessori Kids Universe Hutto

My husband and I with our baby went to the daycare for a tour and got a tad bit late. The staff there was so rude to us and rescheduled our meeting for no good reason. I emailed my concern to Sarah the head of school that her staff member was downright rude and unprofessional. I did not get any response from her. So pathetic!

Great & Loving place for.children's. The staff is extremely friendly. My 4 year old has the pleasure to be in care of the Montessori team.

My son loves this place. Everyone is kind & attentive. He’s 1 year old and has been enrolled for almost 2 1/2 months now. It’s so close to home and they’re always sending you pictures throughout the day of what activity he’s doing. Makes me feel at ease he’s in a great place.

Our experience with MKU Hutto has been fantastic on every level. We continue to be impressed with the amazing staff, facilities, wholesome/vibrant learning experience, and level of care & attention our child receives. There is constant communication through the Montessori mobile app, with full transparency into what our child is experiencing throughout each day. The staff is super professional, caring, friendly, and know exactly how to make the first couple of weeks very easy for new children. MKU Hutto constantly has special activities and highly engaging, fun programs & materials for the kids to use. Our expectations have been far exceeded and we couldn't be happier having our child attend MKU!

These folks really care about the children and go to great lengths to ensure their safety and comfort.

Before going to details of our experience I want to say that initially we went over reviews of this school and were impressed by the happy experiences posted by parents but were also a bit nervous by a few negative reviews. Provided the interesting fact; the negative reviews were written in the same style and have date/time stamps pointing to the opinion of the same family members written from different accounts. Owing to the large number of positive reviews, we decided to enroll our child and have our own experience. Our experience with their administration and owner is great. Their interaction with children clearly shows their love and care for children. We found their teachers passionate and Montessori program is child focused. We have nothing but to express our thanks for opening such a beautiful facility in the area. We read owner’s bio online and met her in-person, we were impressed that such a well-educated person is leading this Montessori and has passion for children’s education. Early childhood education needs such people so that our children learn on strong foundation. This is a relatively new facility in the area, opened just last year with very small class sizes and I am glad they hired and added teachers with growing enrollment in my child’s classroom. Still, they are well below Texas teacher-child ratio and hence my child gets individual attention that he needs at this growing age. All in all, we are very happy, and my child is also happy over there. We will highly recommend this Montessori daycare. P.S. in one of recent reviews we read a parent complaining about refund of tuition, not sure what was their expectation as we have not been to any daycare or gym facility where tuition or monthly subscription was refundable.

We love this school. We have had our daughter enrolled for almost a year now and she absolutely loves it. She is in the toddler class and they already have helped her gain such a sense of independence! EDIT After about a year and a half of being enrolled we are sad to discontinue our relationship with MKU. Ultimately this is due to a few changes that make my partner and I uncomfortable, namely increased class sizes, and our 2-year-old getting sick frequently (about once a week up to 5-6 different things a a month). Prior to the changes (which happened once the pandemic related restrictions had lifted) I was planning on enrolling my newborn (due this month) however these changes made me feel such a sense of discomfort that I wanted to wait until he was a bit older. Unfortunately we’d already put a partial deposit down on his spot and they informed us the deposit was non refundable.

I'm so happy we found MKU! I've loved having my son here. He's made tremendous progress since attending. The teachers truly care about the kids, are very communicative, and respond quickly to messages. I also love seeing pictures of my son participating in daily activities in the app. I know he's safe and cared for while he's there each day, and he's excited every morning when I tell him it's time to go to school. I'd absolutely recommend MKU!

We had just moved to Texas from PA and with such a huge transition we were nervous about our 3-year-old son starting school. Thanks to Covid we were unable to start him in PA. We shouldn't have worried. MKU Hutto is a beautiful and wonderful place. Our son fit in right away and now has two best friends. He has only been attending for 2 months and the changes in him are amazing!! He's talking more and more, in full sentences and singing and dancing all the time, letter songs and the name song are his favorite. His level of empathy, confidence, and social skills have skyrocketed. The Pre-Primary program is excellent and the teachers and administration at the school are top-notch. We couldn't be happier!!
