We couldn’t recommend Guidepost more! As a parent, it’s a bit unsettling to send your child to his first school, but Guidepost made it easy for us and our son. He attended the Young Toddler program at 20 months, then grew into the Toddler program until 3. He quickly went from speaking a few words at home to speaking full sentences, and he learned independence, manners, and friendship. The teachers and staff are friendly, overly-communicative, and down to earth. The clean and bright facilities are unparalleled. We were incredibly sad to leave the Guidepost family when we relocated (if we could have taken Williamsburg Guidepost with us, we would have!) and we hope other families experience this incredible community!

The person calling me back to give me information coughed on the phone (in my ear) repeatedly without once saying “excuse me” or “pardon”! Also quite rude, 1st thing she asks is “are you looking for public school…” feeling a bit confused I say…”no? I was under the impression I was calling a private institution?” To which the woman on the phone responds “oh good cause some people call here thinking we are public…” Before asking for hours and pricing I asked the person I was speaking to “am I speaking to the director?” This question was left unanswered—I suppose I was not worthy of knowing who I’m speaking to. In conclusion, Wow, I would hate to send my children to a place where they are surrounded by this cold, entitled and rude attitude. Guidepost Montessori should invest on edification, creating community and compassion. We realized best to spend the money elsewhere.

We sent our son here from 15 months to 2.5 years of age and had an amazing experience. The space is new, clean, with lots of natural light which a lot of schools in the area lack. More importantly, the staff and teachers are truly incredible - warm, caring, communicative and always professional. Each one of them truly went above and beyond to get to know our son and make him feel welcome in his "2nd home." We recently relocated to the West coast and were so sad to say goodbye - we ultimately chose to send our son to another Guidepost here because we loved our experience in Williamsburg so much. Such a special place!

We had the most wonderful experience at Guidepost Williamsburg. Our daughter grew so much there. Both the teachers and community were so kind. We only left because we moved.

Our eldest spent 4 happy years here; was well cared for and learned a lot from the fantastic guides and staff. Our youngest son is currently in the young toddler class and is thoroughly enjoying his time and progressing every day. Not only are the teachers and guide's great, but all of the staff and administration are extremely helpful. Could not recommend more highly.
