Guidepost Montessori at Legacy

Beware. Avoid Guidepost. The parent company Higher Ground ran the Tulsa, OK school into the ground. We had three different school heads in less than a year. Some guides/teachers are incredible and can make the experience fantastic, but it's obvious Higher Ground is to blame. They are shutting down the school with only five weeks of notice, and they told us right before Christmas! They are blaming everything, including the entire Tulsa area, but not themselves. They are delusional and don't deserve your dollars. Look elsewhere.

We started our daughter here 2 years ago and did initially love it. In the last year, the school truly started going downhill. High turnover rate with assistants, all the assistants for the children's house classroom have had no montessori experience in the past and yell at the children, the main teacher was great but just found out she is leaving so now the school quality will continue to decline. I highly recommend you don't send your children to this school if you want a good quality of care. The children I will see are often not having proper supervision and the school truly only cares about money. They don't pay their staff appropriately, I've heard many stories from different staff about toxic work culture so I pulled my daughter out because I don't think it will be a great environment for her anymore. I recommend finding a different school other than Guidepost. Do your research, the Stonebriar Guidepost shut down because they were unable to pay their rent and so the students all had to combine with Legacy Guidepost.

We love all of the programs offered here! My children have experienced the Toddler and Children's House programs which nurtured their love of learning on a deep level and were truly fundamental in developing their self-confidence and grace and courtesy skills. My children often talk about their happiest moments with their guides, classmates and administrators at Legacy.

I m very satisfied with guide post legacy: They open very long hours and you can drop your kid very early and pick them up as late as 6:00Pm. The school almost has no vacation which we like that so much . School teaches the kid to be independent. Teachers are very professional and kind. My kid loves Ms Crystal, Ms Bianca and Ms Jenny and we can feel he is very happy in the school. I m definitely recommend this day care to anyone .

Came across Guidepost 2 years ago in the very first week of opening, started of small and now we are a huge community with a great staff and teachers that truly care about the children and offer real Montessori education!!! it was the best decision of my life. My 7 year old graduated in kindergarden there, and now I have my infant and toddler going to the legacy location, i absolutely love it.

Guidepost Montessori is such a great school! The front staff is super wonderful and the teachers are amazing with the children.

As a first time mom 6 years ago, the daycare options were overwhelming. After many tours, I was blown away from the moment I stepped into a Guidepost Montessori campus. The school offers true Montessori curriculum and materials. We started two of our kids in the Nido class at their sister campuses 6 years ago but transferred to this campus when it opened a couple of years ago. They are thriving! My third baby will start here soon. The guides (teachers) are so dedicated and passionate about ensuring that every child receives individualized support. The administrators are AMAZING. Crystal, the director, is transparent with her communication and genuinely cares for the families. Bianca is super nice and makes you feel so welcomed every time you walk in the door. It’s truly an amazing school community and my kids have learned so much - it’s impressive. 6 out of 5 stars recommend. Look no further and schedule a tour today!
