Lost a student that was 3 years old. Child was locked in a restroom, when mom came to pick up. Teachers let students do as they please. Very expensive, lack of student focus. Everything is about money. The school also got shut down 3 times in 2023. There is only one class open and all the teachers in it hate it.

We did roaming from our original center to the Columbus Square location and it was great! Super supportive and informative, both of our kids had a blast and kept talking about the new friends they met in "the big city". The guides did their best to make our kids feel like home! In one instance, my son asked to know what time we're going to pick him up and the guide called us so she could give him the most accurate response, this warmed my heart.

Guidepost Montessori at Columbus Square is, quite simply, amazing! The teachers are caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The facilites are beautiful and clean (having that outdoor terrace for daily play is really great). And the management team of Disha and Emily is incredibly warm, responsive, and approachable. They really set the tone for the entire school. In addition, the curriculum is top notch, and the outside vendors/services that the school engages for the students is unparelleled -- music, karate, soccer, yoga, and art. Going to school at Guidepost Montessori at Columbus Square is an incredibly enriching experience, and our son loved it and thrived in that environment.

Reviews Guidepost Columbus Square Montessori is, in my opinion, one of the best educations you could give your preschooler! Not only is it a fully rounded extremely well crafted, 100+ year foundation, but it is also fun and stimulating for families. Let’s breakdown why. First, it’s about the heads of the school, Emily and Disha, they’ve worked so hard to creat an environment of love, caring and attentiveness for the teachers and students to work within. Their attention to detail is outstanding, and their constant communication with each and every family is above and beyond. Next, it’s about the teachers, ALL of them are high level educators well versed in the methodology behind Montessori and Guidepost is the most original practice you’ll find. We get weekly updates about not only the individual progress our child is achieving, but we also get classroom information and pictures. And to top that off, I have daily conversations with them at drop off, so I feel more supported on this journey, and trust me, as a mom, that’s priceless! Now for the facility—- WOW OH WOW this place is STUNNING. Bright sunny SPACIOUS classrooms complete with a rooftop terrace and garden and basement that is extraordinary, library, play space, huge mat for classes and kids kitchen and arts and crafts section! It’s brand new, they’ve truly built this space to be the ultimate happy place for our children. If you’re considering this school for your child, know that you have chosen the very BEST!

My child started go to Guidepost Columbus at 18 month. We were debating nanny or daycare for a while. We are so happy that we made the right choice by choosing this school. The facility is clean and beautiful, the guides are warm and knowledgable. Receiving my child's photos and update is also the highlight of our day! We highly recommend the school for any family looking for a quality 1st school experience for your child.

Guidepost Montessori at Columbus Square is excellent, with very supportive staff and teachers who immediately solve any problems. They are always happy to help. My 4 yo child attends this school and he loves it. Coursework is challenging enough to challenge advanced kids, and the teachers are compassionate enough to help those who are still learning. The staff works hard to ensure that the students feel seen and cared for. Academics and social emotional learning go hand in hand. Guidepost Montessori at Columbus Square is a great choice for parents who are considering enrolling their child.

Guidepost Montessori is a community you can trust. Disha as the Principal and Ms. Michelle, Ms. Natalie and teacher Dylan the Guides for toddlers are beyond expectations. I drop off my toddler here in peace knowing that she is in good hands.

We fell in love with the school on our first visit, and are very happy a month into it. Our toddler loves coming here, the environment is beautiful and supportive, and the teachers and staff are truly wonderful.

There’s so many positives about Guidepost Montessori but I’ll share just a few for families considering this school. The school administrators are very committed to providing an excellent, safe environment for the students and families. Not only are they accommodating to the unique needs of our family, Joy & Disha have both gone above and beyond to help my children acclimate to their new school. Communication is a strong point for this school, and you can always count on weekly emails that help foster a sense of community and provide information on key updates at the school. The school also organizes activities and events throughout the year that allow parents to zoom into the classroom. There may be misconceptions with the Montessori learning method and initially, we were not certain how our children would adjust. The school graciously allowed us to do a test run for both of our children. We can confidently say that the Montessori approach strikes a perfect balance between discovery, focused work time, and group play. On any given school day, my toddler will be quietly concentrated on an activity in the morning, happily learning about land formations (she's only 3!) before lunch, and jumping into dance sequences and building puzzles with classmates by the afternoon. My children are learning something new every day! This school, with very few exceptions, is always open. Additionally, hours are extremely friendly for working parents and/or busy families. They offer multiple programs (English, Mandarin immersion, 1/2 and full day) and extended day activities. Be mindful that classroom sizes vary depending on the age of your child, and the older Children’s House classes have more students and a larger student:teacher ratio. Saving the best for last. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the guides at Guidepost Montessori. My children have 100% hit the jackpot with their respective classroom guides. They are nurturing, supportive, patient and everything you hope for in someone that plays such a vital role in your child’s development. What’s important to know is that while your child is assigned to a classroom, he/she will most certainly interact with the other classroom guides in some capacity. This exposure is so invaluable. Every guide I’ve met or spoken to has, unprompted, shared a unique insight about my child(ren) with me. Through their observation, it's allowed me to discover something new about my child's temperament, character, preferences or development. How wonderful is that?
