Sent my son here for a year before kindergarten to adjust to being in a school setting. Greatest decision we could have made. The staff was great and the teachers my son had were amazing!

We have sent our son here since they opened in 2021. After using another daycare in Anna and touring many other options, all I can say is Deep Roots is the absolute best! The care, love, attention and skills our child has acquired here are invaluable! Also, he comes home CLEAN! No boogers or food on his face! While occasional sickness at daycare is normal, I know this facility goes above and beyond to make sure the school is cleaned each evening and professionally cleaned on the weekends. My son had the experience of starting in the toddler class, moving to transitional, and now is in primary/preschool. I’m beyond impressed and so thankful for each of the teachers and admin staff who have helped him grow. Each of the staff members care about every single child. I have witnessed this first hand - Ms. Andrea greets us with a sweet smile every morning and asks each child how they are doing. The owner Ms. Aruna is always available for a chat and is open and transparent when issues arise. The director Ms. Jane is professional and eases our concerns. Ms. Lisa in the afternoon is the absolute most kind and attentive.I feel like I can call anytime or bring up a concern and it will be addressed. My four year old will not stop talking about how much he loves Ms. Selina, Ms. Deborah, and Ms. Tina. give so much love and attention to helping him learn. They work on skills that I can reinforce at home, writing, numbers, letters, life skills like setting the table, etc. Because of Deep Roots my son is talking, thriving and developing so well here. My son talks about how much he loves his teachers. I know my baby is in good hands, I cannot wait until my 15 month old is old enough to enroll. Thank you for all you do!

We have had such a great experience with Deep Roots. I literally toured almost every daycare/Montessori in Anna, Melissa, VA and Howe and I had such a good vibe when I completed my tour here. My 2 and 5 year old have been here a few months now and the patience, love and support everyone has shown us is amazing. The owner is there daily which is huge and the guidance and care she has gave us while we all adjusted was like no other. The school is clean, all the kids are happy and it’s not chaotic like it feels at other schools. The teachers, staff, directors all truly care and want you to feel comfortable and that really goes a long way. My daughter just started kindergarten now, but was so sad when she had to leave cause she developed such a strong bond with teachers that she has to go visit and say hi when we go and pick her brother up still. Thank you Deep Roots, we are lucky to be with you!

My wife and I had a good conversation with the director when we visited for the first time back in March. My wife was so excited to send our little one to this school and the director encouraged her to sign up for the waiting list saying that there will be spots available for August… but they never called and when my wife called in the middle of July they told her they will call back with an update because they still hadn’t contacted parents in front of us to see if they were still wanting to sign their kid up for the new class. My wife again called this last week since it was getting close to the time they said the class would open. They said they would have to talk to the director before getting back to us. A week went by and my wife again called to get the update. This time they told her they dropped the ball on calling her back and would get back to her with where our child was in line on the waitlist after calling the enrollment specialist. We have still not heard back from them and don’t think they will contact us back. We now will find another preschool after being encouraged to wait for months by the director and led on by the staff. If they are careless about keeping parents up to date on important information and respecting our time, I can imagine how they deal with the kids.

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Deep Roots Montessori and would recommend this school to anyone. They have always been very communicative and proactive with every aspect including the education, events, health, and safety of the children.

My son loves deep roots! He comes home happy and well cared for!

Everyone there is absolutely amazing! They have a great staff that truly care about the kids. I have 2 kids that go there full time, and a school ager who is starting after school and they watch him on school days off. All of their teachers are fantastic. I love getting pictures of them throughout the day too! The director is hands down the easiest person to talk to where it just feels like you are talking to another mom who gets it. My kids always come home happy and CLEAN! (Which was a big problem at one of our previous daycares) Overall, they take care of my kids, and I know they treat them right, which is all that matters to me! 🥰
