Light Farms Montessori

We have been with Light Farms Montessori since 2016 when my oldest daughter was 3 months old. Fast forward to today, and she is now in kindergarten with an incredible head start. Additionally, our youngest daughter (2) has been part of the LFM family since she was also 3 months old. Every teacher we have encountered in our 6 years at Light Farms Montessori has been exceptional. We are so grateful for their love and care for our children. As full time working parents, we can ask for nothing more than to have a group love our children as their own while in their care. Our youngest daughter (2) is currently in Ms. Jaime’s class and she is thriving. Ms. Jaime is an incredible teacher (and human being)! Our daughter is excelling and ahead developmentally which we know is a direct reflection of her teacher and environment. Ms. Jaime is a topic of conversation from our daughter at our house every morning, evening and even on weekends. Our daughter truly loves her and is always so excited to go to school to see “her” Jaime. She lights up every morning when we drop her off and is so excited to learn. Ms. Jaime truly cares for the kids in her class and is constantly going above and beyond to help them grow. Our daughter has been so wonderfully cared for and we are just so grateful that she is in Ms. Jaime’s care. The amazing care doesn’t stop there! We cannot say enough good things about the teachers and staff members, assistant director and director at LFM. We could not ask for better care for our girls. Thank you LFM!

Beware! Although I really thought this place would be amazing...it has turned out to be a nightmare. The assistant director lied/minimized to my face the severity of a health issue that ended up putting my child in the hospital. Our daughter went to the school for 3 HALF days (was at the school for a total of about 10 hours), caught RSV, and never went back. I’m not upset that she got sick (that is sure to happen when a kid goes to daycare). But, my main concern and complaint is that I was lied to. I have no clue WHY the assistant director would lie (mistake? misinformation?) but the lie or mistake was never addressed by her. When me and my husband addressed the issue we were basically told that I was a liar. The assistant director denied what she said to me. And the owner backed her up. So, we just don’t feel comfortable putting our child there. We asked for a refund.....They cashed a check from us for over $1500 and will not give us any refund at all. Why??? I don’t understand. The owner refused to give us our deposit back (it DOES say in their policy that it is non-refundable, but this is a pretty unusual case). We obviously do not feel comfortable or confident putting our daughter at this daycare...and now it feels like they are stealing from us. Unreal. What would it hurt to give us our deposit back? The owner has a choice on what to do...and she refuses to be reasonable. They didn’t provide services for all the money we gave them. Aside from the lies, the way they have handled the entire situation and are runnning their business is cause for concern and pause for any parent. Please think twice before doing business with them!!!

Ms Gabby is THE BEST! So patient and sweet with our 3 year old. She has amazed us! She continues to shower our son with love and always makes him feel safe! He has learned and progressed so much since being her in class. We couldn’t ask for a better pre-primary teacher.

Ms. Gabby in pre-primary has been amazing with our daughter. Our daughter has been in school part time for 6 months & has learned to count, sing songs, work independently, & potty training well. She tells us she’s so excited to see Ms. Gabby & Ms. Sarah and runs into school each time which shows how well she’s being treated in class. She greets her teachers with big hugs. We are thankful to have such great teachers in her first experience with school.

We have been at LFM for 2 years now and it was the best experience. My daughter fell in love with the staff and has learned more in two years than I could’ve hoped for her prior to going into kindergarten. The director and staff is so patient and takes such good care of every student that steps foot in their school. During our covid-19 pandemic, they took so many wonderful precautions to make sure that the parents who had to work felt safe knowing they were leaving their kids in their care. The school is always so clean and the lengths they go to daily to keep it that way is outstanding and a great piece of mind. I am very thankful for these wonderful ladies, there isn’t enough ways to say thank you!

We have two children who have been attending LFM for 3 years now, this school is our family. They treat our children like their own.
