Dancing Moose Montessori School

Dancing Moose is such an amazing place to send your kid. It truly is a school and not a “daycare.” The teachers and staff are all so warm and welcoming. I know that our kids are learning so much and having fun. We are very lucky to have found such a wonderful environment to send our two boys. If you want to send your kids to place that feels like you are leaving them with family, then tour Dancing Moose!

If your child does well with rigidity and follows commands you may like this school. The Montessori approach can be deceiving. My son is thriving in a new preschool where he is allowed to be a kid and not reprimanded for it at two years of age. The teachers and aids lack proper education undestanding early behavior. One of the aids was so sweet with my son but the teacher and other aid labled him day one. I watched while the one aid stood over him for 30 min he would throw a fit anytime she greeted him at the door. It was really hard. Anyone one in that situation would want to get away. After him thriving in a new school I feel inclined to share. Sending a little one off is stressful. If your kids behaviors are worsened after school it might be the school. Follow your mom instincts! This school is not for everyone. My daughter went to the South Jordan one too, which I liked better but still dealt with a teacher trying to worry me about developmental behaviors that I tried explaining over and over she needed tubes in her ears and was having surgery soon. I pulled both my kids from this school.

Brilliant place, true to Montessori teaching methodology in a way that works for every child. I love that my son sees his whole day as "play time" and is learning so much!!

We love Dancing Moose. As a first time mom I was so nervous to put my kid in school and take him there for most of the day. Well, I couldn't have pick a better school, my kid loves it. He get super excited to go there everyday. We love everything about it, teachers are amazing, the food is better than what I made at home, the garden is my favorite part. Now I can't wait for my youngest to go there. Totally recommend it.
