Cloverdale Montessori School

Our son has been part of the Cloverdale Montessori community for approximately six months, and during this time, we've witnessed remarkable growth in his manners and his commitment to kindness and love towards others. Introducing Spanish music at an early age is a brilliant initiative, unlocking immense potential for our children's future. The school maintains a high level of communication and understanding, making them exceptionally cooperative and aligning with our values of fostering individual abilities in a nurturing environment. The structured approach they provide is commendable, and we are confident in entrusting our next child to Cloverdale Montessori. Their team is unparalleled, embodying values that resonate with a sense of tradition, including the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. It's a place where children learn the importance of sharing and embracing each other, making it an ideal choice for our family.

Our daughter has been attending this school since 2020 and we love it. It has been the best school for her. The teachers are all wonderful and have been at the school for decades. You cannot get that anywhere else. My 5yo daughter says it is a "loving and kind" environment and that is why she loves it. She knows that they care about her, they are invested in her development and that they instill a respectful culture. It is truly special. The education she has gotten there is so well rounded, I cannot say enough. They implement the Montessori methodology and have gone above and beyond to implement as many learning opportunities as possible. My daughter has grown in math and reading as well as the day to day basics that children need to grow in this world. Just this week they have been growing their own spices, learning about them, grinding them and bringing them home for use. She loves it. Ms Rosemarie has been teaching her Spanish, which she loves, and Ms Carrie has been taking them on educational field trips to grow her education in the community. She looks forward to seeing Ms Jan every day, and wanted to tell her about her loose tooth. She loves Ms Amy and the activities she has put together for the outside play. I just can't say enough good things. We love all of the teachers there. If you want your child to thrive, bring them here!

My son has been attending Cloverdale for about a year now and he loves it. I also really appreciate the constructive environment, kindness, and compassion, that the teachers display. Starting off the year with new owners had my wife and I a little apprehensive because we enrolled based on high recommendations regarding the previous owner, however the new owners are incredibly involved, informative, and dedicated to the school. I’m a big fan of the parent-involved activities that the staff host on a semi-regular basis. So happy to have a home for my child that I feel confident in preparing his mind for the future ahead of him!

My daughter has been a student at Cloverdale Montessori School for nearly two years now. She is excited every day to go to school. I didn't know much about the Montessori approach prior to her being enrolled, but I have learned it encourages children to learn at their own pace and to explore their interests. This has been evident in the way has learned and grown the during her time there. The activities seem well-designed and age-appropriate. The children always seem to take pride in caring for their environment and helping each other out. The classrooms are bright, colorful and inviting, and the teachers are warm and attentive to each child's needs. I would highly recommend Cloverdale Montessori preschool to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for their child.

I am so thankful to have found this wonderful school for my child. After touring dozens of schools, researching extensively, interviewing staff, and speaking with parents - it was clear to me that Cloverdale was the best choice. The teacher-to-student ratio is the lowest of any kindergarten or preschool I've ever seen. The teachers have years, if not decades, of experience and are all thoroughly trained in the Montessori way. They are communicative, involved, caring, kind, honest, and absolutely dedicated to the growth and development of every child. After years of a traditional daycare, it is so thrilling to see my child come home (not with another generic worksheet) but with knowledge of things he is passionate about and a love for learning. The way they teach subjects like math, science, reading, and writing is so effective and student-focused that my child not only has fun while learning, but actually retains, comprehends, and applies the knowledge immediately. Then there is the added knowledge and hands-on experience of things like Spanish, music, art, dance, gardening, social skills, emotional awareness, empathy, and self-awareness. Lastly, as a licensed therapist who works with families, I was most impressed to see how Cloverdale's environment eliminated the "after-school collapse" that so many parents struggle with. The school fosters a culture and atmosphere that protects children from things like overstimulation, excessive stress, past-capacity learning, forced lesson plans, and social anxiety. The children are more stable, consistent, content, and at ease. My child is a happier, healthier, smarter, and kinder human because of Cloverdale. All the gratitude and appreciation from this mama!

I personally know the owners of this school. They are the kindest people with the biggest of hearts. Their dedication to the school and especially the kids is undeniable. Highly recommend this school!
