This school has increasingly frustrated every single inch of my soul. They constantly change rules all throughout the school year. For the first month I didn't even know my son was to BRING HIS LUNCH TRASH HOME TO BE THROWN AWAY AT HOME!!! Yes, they have trashcans on premises! If you want to pick up early it must be by 2:15pm when school doesn't officially end until 3. If you call to talk to the head of school she certainly won't call you back. If you happen to schedule a meeting with her she'll simply not show, without any notice. If you call to ask a question about YOUR child and ask for a call back, you could seriously sprout a baby tree before they'd get back with you. This 'school' is a total and complete MESS. Not to mention that the teachers simply ALLOW your child to sleep through half the day or the entire day of school instead of WAKING THEM UP TO LEARN. This establishment is a very sorry excuse for an educational establishment and I can not be happier that my son will be in a completely different school next year. They need to work on a LOT of things to improve their processes, procedures, and communication skills with parents and staff alike. During this school year alone I believe at least 3 Upper staff members have left or turned in resignations. I guess the Head of school feels if she isn't going to be working there much longer she doesn't need to call parents back or commute with them. It's really unsettling to have your pride and joy in a school like this. I didn't listen to old Casa parents whom said, "THINGS ARE DIFFERENT!!! We removed our child after the old H.O.S left." I wish I would have.

Casa has a great group of caring, dedicated teachers and staff. Very thankful to have them in my children’s lives.

This is our first year at casa. During our search for schools we knew our base wasn’t an option so we “shopped” around for an alternative magnet. A HUGE pull for us was the Spanish Immersion. Like many parents, I too encountered the negative comments and unhappy parents. Instead of going off hearsay I visited the school and absolutely fell love with it. The love and dedication shown by these teachers is so comforting. Both of his teachers are native speakers, and just within half a year his Spanish skills are beyond anything we could have done at home. My kindergartener is learning to read, learning life skills, and is even writing in cursive! I am go glad we made the choice to give Casa a chance. Without a doubt my youngest will also be applying when it’s her turn.
