I LOVE Busy Hands! I'm not a parent of a child here but I wish I had been able to send my son here when he was little. I'm the school photographer and coming to this school is always a highlight of school picture season. The teachers are always so patient and understanding. I never like to rush kiddos through pictures, instead I like to let them get comfortable for a more natural expression. And even the littles that are nervous, the teachers are so willing to help out with singing songs, holding hands and even sometimes having littles sit on their legs so they feel comfortable. I just love this school!

We have had a very negative experience at Busy Hands Montessori. Our son cries everyday before he arrives, and has for 3 months. When we tried to work with the administration on techniques to make the adjustment better, they have consistently placed the blamed on us. They are inflexible, patronizing, and condescending towards parents. Our son attended a different montessori in our previous city, which he adjusted to quickly and liked, so it’s not just a matter of him not liking school. If you arrive one minute late for drop-off (for any reason at all), they will not let you in; if you forget to bring a wet-dry bag, they will charge you $20 for a new one; if you give 60-days notice (60 days and no change to get your deposit back!) that you’re leaving the school, you’ll receive a novel about how you’re making the wrong parenting decisions for your child. These are not people who have a child’s best interests in mind and they do not respect parents. To them, you are only dollar signs.

Busy hands is so awesome. They have most genius teachers, super fun projects and the best music lessons as I know. My boy speak English as a second language and he comes to this school since he was rejected by another very expensive franchised pre-school. In just one year, he learned to read in English, which I never expected him to achieve at this age. I saw him grow to a caring and helpful boy with big passion of learning. Thank you so much to all the teachers!
