AMS is a wonderful school with loving and caring guides. Our son has been attending the school and we hope our daughter will as well! AMS is an accredited AMI program and take a lot of care to follow Montessori methodology. The Great Northern campus is a wonderful community and a very convenient location. The campus itself is beautiful with lots of outdoor space for the children. There are multiple ways parents can participate and be a part of the school including semi-annul outdoor environment days, classroom observations, and more.

My son has been a part of the Great Northern Campus of AMS for the past 2 years in the Children's House Community. AMS is accredited by the AMI and is the oldest Montessori school in Austin. My wife and I have been very impressed with the experience. Everyone involved in the school from administrators to guides and staff truly care about my son and our family. My son loves attending school here. Not only is he receiving a great education, AMS also has a great community with a lot of involvement from all of the families including monthly gatherings on the weekends to help connect with one another. Throughout the year they host multiple information sessions not only about the school program but also about strategies to help with your kids (from potty training to discipline and beyond). I would definitely recommend AMS (and the Great Northern Campus!) for anyone looking for a great community and a quality Montessori education for their children.

My children have been part of the AMS community for a year now. I can't say enough good things about this school. The school is not only the oldest and most experienced, it is filled with a fantastic group of humans, teachers, and staff. I am so proud to say my kids are part of AMS community and are cared for by the best Montessorians out there. I absolutely recommend this amazing school.
