Young Peoples Learning Center

This preschool is incredible. They have very caring staff and teachers, safe classrooms, fun activities and events. They have it all. My son loves it here. I highly recommend them!

My child has been at YPLC for more than three years. It's our last year at the Plum school before heading to elementary school. We'll miss it! My child loves the teachers and has made good friends here. Teachers are very patient and there's good communication with us. My child enjoys activities like art, walks and free time, and also likes the structure their daily schedule provides. The backyard has the space kids need to run around and they spend a lot of time outside, which is great. They have extra curricular activities like yoga, Spanish and water days, which expose the kids to new things. You can tell staff put a lot of time and energy into planning fun and educational activities. Administrative staff and the owners hold regular family/staff meetings to update families on what's coming up and give guardians opportunities to provide feedback. They also seem to care about their staff and want them to feel supported.

We're incredibly grateful to have our son at YPLC. He has Down syndrome, and prior to this experience, had only been in specialized child care centers. When we felt he was ready for more integration, we visited YPLC, and Jordi, the director, immediately put us at ease with her excitement to meet our son and passion for caring for kids with a range of abilities. Now, roughly a year in, he clearly feels at home here, and we see the acceptance and love he receives from his peers and caregivers every time we're in the building.

My twins have been students with YPLC since 2022. Our family appreciates and admires the consistency YPLC provides - the daily routines, education and longevity of staff is helping our kids thrive in all areas. Mr. Nate, Ms. Maddie, Ms. Mazzy, Ms. Burgundy and so many others have helped provide a comfortable atmosphere during the day and provides us with peace of mind.

All of the staff at both locations really care for each child as if they were their own. My 2 yr old loves going to daycare every morning and I feel such a huge relief knowing he’s in good hands when I can’t be with him! Thank you so much for loving my little boy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. They keep AMAZING staff and I can leave my girl knowing she’s safe, loved, and taken care of. She has been there since 1 year of age and has THRIVED. I don’t know what I would do without them!!! The updates throughout the day and the photos they share are reassuring and make my day! Thank you for taking care of my baby so that I can work and provide for her!!

Our little guy has been going here for over a year now. He loves it so much. He has learned so much over this past year. It's amazing to see him grow and learn so much in such a small amount of time. We love all of the teachers and team members who help make this place a wonderful teaching place hands down best place to take your kiddos!

I have both a staff perspective and a parent perspective. Both perspectives have been fantastic. They truly care about each individual and make it feel like home for both the children and the teachers.
