Westwood Academy

We love Westwood Academy! Our toddler has been enrolled for 6 months and absolutely loves it. She is excited to go to school everyday and has formed such great bonds with her teachers and friends. The teachers are kind and engaging and our daughter has learned so much since starting. Additionally, the Director, takes the time to send monthly newsletters about the happenings at school which really keep us informed about what our kiddo is learning. I cannot recommend it enough!

I have my two boys enrolled here and we love this school. The teachers are amazing, we have had ms.Ellie, ms.Katia, and ms.tori and my children grew to love them all. It was a hard transition starting at a new school and they made it very comfortable for them to adjust. The classrooms are set up very Montessori inspired with the expeditionary learning as well. I respect they are very well at managing the classroom size and health of ALL staff and students.

Our son has been at Westwood Academy since its inception -- and it was his first educational and care experience outside of the home/our relatives. We could not be happier with his experience! Ms. Bea, the teachers, and the caregivers are incredibly attentive, communicative, and kind. We feel 100% confident with our son's safety and care each day we drop him off. I appreciate the balance of a varied curriculum with free play and opportunities for the kids to use their imaginations -- we can see when our son comes home from school just how much he is learning and growing. Intellectually, socially, and emotionally, our son learns new skills with each week at Westwood Academy. Outside of our son's direct experience, as a parent I appreciate the school's clear and straightforward communication about things happening in the day-to-day at Westwood Academy. I also see how much care and attention is paid to bringing a diverse staff into the classroom and how much Ms. Bea cares for her employees. Beyond the education and care of our son, it is important to us to support organizations and small businesses IN our community that provide equitable employment opportunities and treat their employees well. We see that at work every day at Westwood Academy. These attributes combined with the excellent nurturing of our son are what makes the school so special. There is no other school we would send our kiddo. We love Westwood Academy!

We have had our daughter enrolled with Westwood Academy since April of this year and would say the staff at Westwood have exceeded expectations. Ellie and Katiana have been amazing with our daughter and teaching her a ton. The cleanliness of the facility and professionalism of staff has been great too. Ms. Bea runs a great day care/preschool.

My kids have been attending Westwood Academy for 2+ years and couldn’t be happier with all the staff and improvements that my kids making because of the teachers here! All of staff members are doing an outstanding job!!!

We have had a great experience with Westwood Academy. We enrolled our daughter in March 2024 and she cannot wait to get to school every day! The teachers have gone above and beyond to welcome our family and meet our daughters needs. She is clearly fond of and very comfortable with the staff. In the time she has been there her language and social skills have exploded and we worked collaboratively to help her with potty training (which took less than 2 weeks!). We are very grateful to have a daughter enrolled at Westwood Academy.

I have 3 children enrolled at Westwood Academy, in the preschool and toddler class. It is always clean, they are always disinfecting everything. I’ve met everyone there, they are all wonderful. The staff is always polite, any concerns they had were addressed respectfully, always with my child’s best interest in mind. My kids are excited to be at this establishment, the staff sends photos throughout the day of the kid's activities and they are always smiling ear to ear. Thank you for all your wonderful work!

We have had our 15 month enrolled at Westwood for 2 months and could not be happier with the experience. The development we have seen in our little one in such a short time has been remarkable. The staff are kind and very caring. Ms Bea and the rest of the staff are easy to communicate with. We are so happy we found such a great daycare center!
