We’ve been to a number of highly recommended preschools and daycares in the area because I have a few kids, but Tiny Cabin is such a gem. We were at a highly rated popular Montessori school in Magnolia, but it shut down due to licensing which led us to scramble for alternative care. I had toured in the fall and loved it but one of my other kids attended the other school so enrolled them in there due to ease. I used to literally drag my three year old son kicking and screaming to go to school (part forest school/part montessori) and although I thought it was a lovely school, he didn’t feel the same. Since attending Tiny Cabin, he is so much better at pick up and drop off. He is excited to go and has even bonded with some friends. He is SO proud of the work he does and takes home to me (letter writing and art). His whole demeanor has changed. I honestly thought it was just him hating school altogether and I’d spend the next forever dragging my youngest to school but no it was really just the schools and daycares he attended previously. The teachers are all so sweet and engaging and the low numbers really provide intimate, nurturing care.

We were so happy to find Brianna at Tiny Cabin. She has created a really special place that's intimate and homey, filled with unique and thoughtful touches like the vegetable garden, the resident Dutch bunnies, or the reading nook under the stairs (which our kiddo loves to hang out in). You can really tell that she has put her heart into the place to give the students an enriching environment. Brianna and her staff are also just really gifted educators who continue to impress us with not only how much our son learns at Tiny Cabin, but how much they can help us as first time parents (whether it's potty training or helping our son prepare for being a brother). Furthermore, Brianna has created a small community around Tiny Cabin so that the parents can get together for playdates, share knowledge, exchange clothes, or even get involved with the school as much or as little as they like. Thank you Brianna for everything you've done for us. We're so happy we skipped the big box, impersonal, day care chains and joined you here!

Brianna is *so* good with kids and in turn they respond well to her. She’s calm, confident, and patient. I love how she guides children to navigate their own emotions, practice/learn practical life skills, and cultivate a sense of wonder. All within a compassionate, educated Montessori framework. My child has really grown into his own as an inquisitive and independent person while having Brianna as his teacher. I would happily recommend her to friends.

Brianna is an incredible teacher. I feel so lucky that our twins have spent the last two years learning from her. They not only love going to school each and every day but the skills they have learned I know will help them for the rest of their lives. They have learned how to be confident, kind, and responsible while also learning everything from playing guitar, to the parts of the octopus. Their handwriting, math, and reading skills are far beyond anything I imagined they would get at this age and Brianna has set them up for true success as they transition to kindergarten.

Brianna worked closely with our children for 2 years, and we've had the joy of seeing her progress toward starting her own school. Everyone in our family learned and grew, and we came to deeply appreciate the Montessori environment and philosophy. All of our kids were prepared, academically and emotionally, for the transition to kindergarten, and they are continuing to thrive. They are confident and engaged with the people and world around them. Brianna and her school have our highest recommendation!
