The Nest Montessori School

Our almost 3 year-old daughter is THRIVING here. Everyone at this school is attentive, kind, compassionate, and communicate so well with us. They are always excited and happy to see us at drop off and actually want to know how we are doing. Our daughter comes home singing new songs and sharing new knowledge daily, which is incredible to see. She gets good rest at nap time, eats well, and is HAPPY. We are so, so grateful for Ms Sam and her whole teaching staff!

The Nest Montessori is a gem in the San Diego college area. My daughter had been enrolled in a Reggio Emilia school for a year prior to Nest Montessori and although it worked for my son, she made very slow progress. In the six months we switched to Nest Montessori San Diego, she has grown a tremendous amount emotionally, academically and in self dependency. Ms. Sam and her team of Montessori trained teachers pour in their hearts to nurture the beautifully budding minds of these kids to foster a sense of self-confidence - giving them a space to be curious and explore. They also have a packed curriculum of reading/writing the letters, simple math, science, geography, Spanish and other applied skills that are made into easily digestible lessons, stories and songs that aid in information retention. Their efforts help the kids create a strong foundation to not only succeed academically in elementary school, but also to build off of as they mature and navigate through life. I really wish we found out about Nest Montessori sooner.

As a parent, I can't recommend Nest Montessori highly enough. The school fosters an environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and learn at their own pace. This philosophy has allowed my daughter to develop a genuine love for learning, as she feels empowered to pursue her interests and delve deeply into subjects that captivate her. We have witnessed incredible growth in my daughter's math and language skills during her time at Nest. The amazing staff deserves immense praise for their unwavering commitment to the well-being and development of every child. I am very grateful for the transformative experience she has had here, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing educational environment for their child.

After nearly two years at this daycare, we're sad to leave San Diego and such a fantastic place. Our daughter made wonderful friends and learned so much during her time there. The staff, especially Ms. Sam, are incredibly caring and dedicated, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. The facilities are excellent, and the diverse activities promote both fun and education. We highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place that truly invests in their child's well-being and development.

We love The Nest and Miss Sam! We have had our daughter with her for a year and a half and she is doing so well. We thought our daughter would do well with Montessori and she is, but it’s more than that. Miss Sam gives all the kids such care and love, and we’ve never had a doubt that she is safe and thriving there. Our daughter loves school and gives Miss Sam a big hug every morning. And she comes home singing songs she learned and telling us all the things she knows.

Our little one attends The Nest and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him here. They provide wonderful warm meals (dietitian approved) :) , which is a huge weight off our shoulders, and Miss Sam in particular is so loving and welcoming. I'm never concerned about his safety, and communication is also really great. Feeling blessed to have found The Nest this year!
