We have had the wonderful opportunity to enroll both our children at MSCB. The staff are loving, attentive, and care deeply about the well-being of the kiddos in their care. The director is no exception. We love Ms Rachel and are so thankful for her presence in our children's growth.

Our experience with Montessori School on Camp Bowie has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we enrolled our daughters, we knew we had found a nurturing and inspiring environment for their education and personal growth. Academically, the progress our daughters have made is remarkable. The Montessori approach fosters independence, curiosity, and a love for learning, and we've seen these qualities flourish in our children. They've developed a deep understanding of various subjects, thanks to the hands-on learning experiences provided by the dedicated teachers. Equally important is the emotional growth we've witnessed. The supportive atmosphere at MSCB has allowed our daughters to build confidence, resilience, and empathy. They've learned to express themselves creatively and communicate effectively, skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. One of the most rewarding aspects has been seeing our daughters' enthusiasm for school. They genuinely look forward to each day, eager to explore new ideas and engage with their peers. The friendships they've formed extend far beyond the classroom, creating a sense of community that enriches their overall experience. In short, Montessori School on Camp Bowie has played a pivotal role in shaping our daughters into lifelong learners and compassionate individuals. We couldn't be happier with our decision to entrust their education to such a remarkable institution.

My son started attending MSCB when he was 18 months old. I have watched him grow not only intellectually but emotionally and socially as well. The teachers at this school are kind and patient and take time to know your child. The teachers here were an integral part in helping us potty training our toddler. They were patient with him while he was learning and always provided helpful feedback and things we could be doing at home to help him be more successful. He has learned so much in a short period of time. I've noticed things he does at home that I know came from this school. He is learning to become an independent and responsible child. And I can't wait to watch him to continue to thrive here. We are excited to have our younger child start school here in the fall.

MSCB is a top-notch preschool program that enriches the whole child. Not only do they provide a tailored education to each student, but their attentive teachers also create a loving family environment that is a home away from home. I am sad that my daughter will be graduating from their program this May, but the three years she has spent here have been integral to her education, social skills, physicality, and independence. The school offers lessons in Spanish, French, Yoga, and Music in addition to the classic Montessori work where the children learn to learn by discovering a love of language, math, art, and science, all while striving for independence and gaining the confidence to be big kids. My daughter’s favorite class days are when she is assigned snack day and gets to pass out the snack. She looks forward to monthly pizza Fridays and show and tell. Birthdays are a special event at MSCB. The Birthday Boy or Girl gets to pass out a special birthday snack and they are celebrated by the entire class. But the event that makes my heart swell the most every year is the holiday bizarre where the children make Christmas ornaments and crafts. The parents are invited to come and buy the gifts from the children who sell them. The money is divided up and sent home with each family so the child can buy a gift that is donated to the fire department to be given to a child in need. MSCB encourages classroom involvement from parents. This school holds class observations for the parents to come and see the Montessori magic. It is so amazing to see so many very young children concentrating on something they are working on intently on the floor. Because Montessori education does not offer typical letter grades, the school provides conferences for the parents to understand their child’s progress with milestones and education. They also offer a summer school semester that is helpful for working parents in addition to after and before care. My daughter loves Mrs. Rabiya so much that one summer when Mrs. Rabiya went on vacation, my daughter asked if we could bake her cookies to try to convince her not to leave again. The school has creative and fun events the kids look forward to every year. They have two picnics at Sanguinet Park and the children absolutely love seeing their friends outside of a normal school day. They do a Spring Performance every year and my daughter does not like to get up in front of people. Her first performance she got scared and ran to me in the audience. The second one, she dutifully did her part. The third one was very special because her teacher knows she can read and creatively found a way to let her be a part of the performance in a way that wouldn’t give her so much stage fright. She gave her the part of the narrator. She didn’t have to act, she just had to read the nursery rhyme. With her nose in the book, she was able to perform without being nervous and still be a part of the play. For a teacher to come up with a creative solution to include her required knowledge of the student, patience, love, understanding, and ingenuity. I will never forget the first time I went to the school for the initial meet before filling out the application. My daughter ran and hid behind the curtains because she was so shy. The director just smiled and said, “If she comes to this school, I guess we will need to buy extra curtains.” That’s when I know we had finally found the right pre-school. Since then, my daughter has learned to read, has learned counting and writing numbers to 100, can say phrases in Spanish and French, has learned about other countries, teaches me yoga dragon breath and airplane pose, has learned dozens of songs, has learned to make friends, and has opened up in a way I never thought possible for my child who hid behind curtains. It has been a privilege for her to learn from the teachers at this school during the most crucial part of her brain development. This is an excellent school and I’m proud my family is a part of it.

We can’t tell you enough how much we love MSCB. Our close friends suggested MSCB so we decided to give it a shot. I was a little bit skeptical of the Montessori method at first. All my doubts and speculations were literally out the window on day 2 of picking up our son from his second day of school 1 year ago. Our son has learned so much in such a short amount of time. The transformation happened so fast! It was almost unreal! The teachers and staff at MSCB have become family. They love our children so much. Our son doesn’t leaving us like most toddlers don't, so it makes morning drop-offs a little difficult sometimes, but the moment he sees his teachers, everything changes. When we pick him up from school, he doesn’t want to leave. Our son is 2.5 years old now; he learned to count to 20 on his own by 20 months. He is so much more advanced than our friend’s children in normal daycare programs. His teachers have taught him about animals I don’t even know the names of 🤣. This kid is outsmarting us and it’s all because of our MSCB family. Thank you, Ms. Emily, Ms. Nancy, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Nora, and Ms. Judy and MSCB for all that you guys do for our children!

Our daughter has been at this school for 2 years (starting at 18 months) and we’re planning to attend for another year and a half until she starts kindergarten. We absolutely love the school and all the teachers. The kids are learning so much!
