Sunshine Montessori Preschool & Child Care Center

I just had to update my review. We still attend here and have continued to love it. My youngest is now in their prek program and not even halfway through the year and he can write his name, knows all his letter, can write his letter, knows his numbers and even knows most his sounds. Biggest shout out to Ms Sujata and Darr!! He will be more than ready for kindergarten! My kids have been coming here since April 2022. This place has become like a second home to my boys. I know they are safe and taken care of when they are at Sunshine. I am so appreciative of all the teachers and staff at Sunshine.

My baby and I love this school. All the teachers and staff is super friendly. They show all the kids and babies love and care like their own. Honestly they’re like family. I would definitely recommend them.

This place has been a God send for our little one. We interviewed 4 schools in the same day… Sunshine was the 3rd of the day…. And I knew as soon as we walked through the door, this is the one… reminiscent of my own pre K experience. You can feel the love, the joy and genuine feeling of home when you see the smiles on the young ladies faces when you drop of your younglings. Miss Dana is absolutely amazing. A true leader of her team. Brynlee talks about her with big smiles everyday when I pick her up. Thank you Sunshine Montessori for being exactly the school for us…

Our son (then foster son) was 6 months old when he started going to SMS. He's now almost 4 years old (in August) and about to start pre-k in the fall. While we've had our ups and downs with SMS, prior to Ms. Dana becoming the director. We've been satisfied with our services ever since. We can tell that Ms. Dana loves the children and our son loves her too. If we ever had a situation, she was happy to hear and/or help. The bonus --- we've seen so much growth in our son! He/we get compliments all the time with his vocabulary and how smart he is. While we teach him, we give a lot of credit to SMS and the curriculum that they provide.

This awesome it’s clean staff members are nice there’s fun activities to do a lot of toys for kids they also have activities for school age kids

0 stars for unprofessionalism and the handling of things. This should have been address at pick up and not done in the manner it was done. My daughter was disenrolled which was fine . For her behavior I was called and told she had to be picked up immediately due to hitting teacher and destroying a class , a four year old. And her behavior at home is totally different. She has always been on the bossy side and time to time doesn’t listen(normal for her age) , but since she started class with the a new teacher Muslim she would say she didn’t want to go to school. I asked why was she okay to go into another class but not hers but nothing was done . I assumed she was just adjusting to change . However for me it was for the best they just gave me the push to find the correct daycare that knows how to deal with kids.

I have 2 girls at Sunshine and they both love it!! My oldest has been there 3.5 yrs and, in that time, has seen management and staff change for the better! She now attends full day Montessori curriculum and is learning and growing so much since the start of the school year!! My youngest is a new student and also loves her teachers and is all smiles when she sees them!! Would recommend 10/10.

My two of my boys attend here. I am ver impressed with the Montessori teaching they have implemented. In a short time my preschooler was writing and reciting information about science math days and months. I believe that the there teaching style has prepared my older son with an excellent foundation to start kindergarten. They have both learned good habits that helped them keep up a clean and tidy environment. My little boy was a late start to potty training and there dedication to helping and being attentive made the process go by smooth and quickly was potty trained. I believe they are great school and affordable.
