Stepping Stones Academy and Family Center

Top notch childcare.

My son has been attending Stepping Stones since he was 14 weeks old. I can't say enough good things about this daycare and wish we weren't leaving! The curriculum is engaging, many of the staff members have been working at the center a long time and the extended hours are great if you need early pick up/drop off. I've found the center to be very communicative and responsive to questions/concerns/requests.

The curriculum is exactly what I am looking for, location is perfect, but the waitlist is 2 years out. I filled out the waitlist application, paid the nonrefundable fee, and got the confirmation that I was added to the waitlist for my one and a half year old. At no point did I receive any communication about how long the waitlist was or that I would need to put him on the waitlist for the almost four year old age group and not the toddlers. I called a week later to find out more information about the potential wait after not hearing from anyone and just hoping to get more information in general and that was when they told me it was a 2 year wait. I suggested that they let people know via their website that the waitlist was so long and was told that they couldn’t do that due to the fluid nature of the waitlist. I suggested maybe a notice recommending that interested parties call prior to signing up for the waitlist and they ignored me and explained that they couldn’t constantly update their website with the waitlist times. The ladies I spoke to seemed very nice, but would have been nicer if they were more willing to proactively notify interested parents that they do not have room, anywhere in the near future, for additional children.

I can't say enough good things about Stepping Stones and the care my 2 children have received, it's above and beyond! The staff is exceptional they have showed love and sincere concern for my children. The owners are actively involved and keep parents in the loop. Thank you Stepping Stones for creating a safe, educational and fun environment for my kids!

Such an amazing and wonderful place. My daughter has bloomed into a curious, creative and independent girl and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kaela and her staff. My daughter loves Stepping Stones and looks forward to going to school every day even on weekends...lol.The staff is warm and inviting and takes time to get to know each child, the child's family and their needs. Very impressive program and highly recommended.

The director and teachers are AMAZING! They have been supportive and consistent in both their communication and their care for our daughter. Our daughter’s teachers are creative, organized and responsive. We are grateful we found Stepping Stones!

My daughter was at Stepping Stones for two and a half years before starting Kindergarten this morning. We had peace of mind in knowing that the staff were patient and it's obvious they love children. They're organized and maintain a routine that empowers the kids. Safety and security for the kiddos is a priority there. Quality staff and awesome management. So easy to work with. My little girl is advanced for her kindergarten class. She didn't need preschool with all of the learning that Stepping Stones incorporates. So grateful to have found them after a couple of questionable experiences with other daycares. Thank you, Stepping Stones!
