Spell Well Montessori School

Moved our kids here from another local school and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are great, and the school offers so many different activities, languages, etc. We initially wanted to keep them there until they were old enough for the local elementary school, but now we plan to keep them there until they age out after 6th grade. Without question, one of the best schools in our area.

My grandson loved this place before we unfortunately had to stop attending due to financial issues. The school absolutely fosters a curious mind within the child from the moment they are enrolled. He attended the school from the time he was two years old to the time he was five, then attended its summer program until he was ten. He absolutely loved the school when it was his main curriculum, and even after he developed a general resentment towards school (as most do) around seven, he still loved to go to this school in the summer months. They frequently went on fun and exciting field trips that were still very informative, and the stay-at-school days, although more learning-focused, did an almost perfect job of blending learning with fun and involved activities. For example, during a week-long unit about the Romans, they staged a semi-realistic "gladiator battle" at the end of school on Friday, just to have fun with what they learned. And it stuck, too. He would really grill me on the Romans for a while after that. To this day, he still remembers a lot of what he learned during that unit. The teachers are excellent as well. They are clearly chosen for a love of kids and a love of learning, and they do an amazing job of finding the right person. My grandson especially liked Ms. Cheyenne, although I do not believe she teaches anymore. He still has a very strong love of learning to this day, and it is undoubtedly at least partially attributable to this school. Keep up the good work!
