Southglenn Montessori Preschool

The environment and appearance earns two stars but my child was not the same coming home from this place. We pulled our child out asap and tried to move on. Unfortunately there are no cameras and I am afraid that the unthinkable may occur to young children in this place. I wonder if other similar reviews have been suppressed. From this experience our child refused having teeth brushed, changing clothes, and bedtime… all became the most impossible tasks and resulted in uncharacteristic meltdowns.

SMP was the perfect place for our daughter's first preschool / daycare experience! Jean and her assistants created a quiet, soothing atmosphere that stimulated creativity, thinking and play. Our daughter was always so happy to be there, and not only did she learn a lot, but most importantly she learned how to BE in her own little body and to SPEAK and SEE feelings in others. I really appreciated Jean's thoughtful and professional approach to childcare - she created an environment that was truly special and one that we have struggled to find in another location since our move. Our daughter was truly seen, understood and loved during her year there. I highly recommend Jean / SMP!

My twins started there school journey at Southglenn Montessori. They had so much fun. They also learned a lot in the process. I am so glad that my kids were able to attend. You can’t go wrong.

I was lucky enough to find Mrs. Jean! She taught both my kids preschool. My son thrived at learning with her and my daughter learned a lot but most importantly was able to go and not cry (huge win for us). She is so compassionate and we couldn't have asked for a better fit for our kids. Thank you Mrs. Jean for everything you did to set them up for success!

Southglenn Montessori was the best place we could've found for our then 2 and a half yo bilingual speaker. Miss Jean is very caring and attentive to each child in her classroom and we could not be happier of being in her school. Our now 4 and a half yo learned so much during the last two years, including an enormous amount of English, which he didn't speak before starting school, so there was another challenge with that. Miss Jean was able to care for him regardless of the language barrier and with her and the other amazing kids he is now thriving. Thank you, Jean, for being such an amazing human being! We are delighted to have you in our lives! Can't wait for the new school year to start!

We were not interested in sending my deeply feeling 3 year old to a “mega preschool”, that’s when we found Southglenn Montessori. I am so glad we did. It has been a wonderful experience for my 4 year old. Miss Jean is kind, caring and amazing with the students! Having smaller class sizes and a smaller environment really allowed my daughter the ability to feel seen and heard which can be hard in a bigger setting. My daughter learned so much last school year both academically as well as socially and emotionally. We can’t wait to return this school year!
