South Jordan Montessori School

I have 2 girls that have gone here for a combination of 6 years and we absolutely LOVE it!

I have had two children attend this preschool a decade apart and I've been thrilled with the experience both times. My children have learned to explore the world in creative and age appropriate ways giving them an optimistic confidence in life. This preschool experience prepares them both academically and socially for the years ahead as well as instilling in them a love for education and an enthusiasm for school itself.

This school is a hidden gem in South Jordan! Built out of a house, this school provides a nourishing environment that fosters academic and physical growth. They have awesome Montessori-certified teachers, a great classroom, and an even better playground. I couldn't have asked for a better school for my children.

The best preschool! The teachers are amazing with the kids. So many wonderful materials for them to work with and places to play and learn inside and out. They plan great field trips and enrichment opportunities for the kids. You won’t find a better school.

A true Montessori experience at an affordable price! Our son has loved his time at South Jordan Montessori. He is excited every day he gets to go to school. He is always talking about the fun things he has learned and his imagination has really blossomed since he started attending. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend it. The faculty is fabulous!

My four children have attended South Jordan Montessori for their preschool years. It is a truly amazing school!! All my children have a deep love of reading and are well above grade level. I attribute this to the way they learned to read in preschool. It's so intuitive. The teachers are absolutely incredible. Ms. Carol is a gifted teacher! She knows just how to connect with a child. She is a kind, loving, and respectful teacher. They go on monthly field trips. They have a baking day once a month. The kids are able to measure, crack eggs, mix, and bake. They do music and art. They learn about all the continents. The materials are colorful, hands-on, and inviting. The backyard, where they have recess, has the most incredible play house I've ever seen. The kids adore playing in it. There is a playground, sand box, trampoline, orchard, chickens, and plenty of grass to run around on. I can't say enough good about this pre school!

I have had three children attend South Jordan Montessori school for preschool over the past 11 years. They have all had wonderful experiences. The teachers are all trained Montessori teachers, which I have found to be rare. After moving to Sugarhouse, I tried other Montessori schools, including Riverton Montessori, Salt Lake Community Montessori toured many others in the valley. South Jordan has by far been the best. I actually ended up pulling my son out of Salt Lake Montessori after he started exhibiting severe anxiety when he transitioned from the toddler program to their early childhood program. I moved him to South Jordan Montessori where he flourished. The school is beautiful and professional and the outdoor space is amazing! Great school.
