Sidewalk's End Montessori School

Great preschool with excellent teachers in the Montessori style. Have seen our son grow while attending this school. He loves going to school every day and often wants to stay to learn more.

Both of my boys went here and loved every thing about it.

Having read up on the Montessori educational program previously, I already knew this is the route we wanted to take. As soon as my daughter starting showing the signs of "I can do it all by myself", I knew it was time. I called Sidewalk's End and made an appointment. Ms. Lynne really took the time to show us around and explain all the activity stations. She took what I thought I knew about the program before to the next level. I was blown away. Then she went into what each station teaches the child; it really is down to a science. Once enrolled, they really got to know my daughter as an individual. It really shows that all of the wonderful teachers there believe in the Montessori program and want to see each child develop to their best potential. I can't talk about our personal experience without specifically mentioning Ms. Grace and Ms. Amber. They had a huge impact on my daughter during her year and a half there; and even though we haven't been enrolled at Sidewalk's End for many months now, she still talks about them today. I am absolutely certain that if my husband's career didn't take us in a different direction, she would still be enrolled at Sidewalk's End. Thank you Sidewalk's End Montessori School. As her parents, we are completely confident we chose the best teammates possible in creating a strong foundation to her life skills and educational journey.

We are completing our 4th year with Sidewalk's End and it has been a tremendous blessing for both of our (very different) girls. Each completed 2 years and has kindled a fire for learning and provided a solid foundation in their personality, self esteem and maturity that will serve them throughout their lives. Ms. Lynn, Ms. Amber, and Ms. Grace....all of the teachers have created such a dynamic and mentally enriching environment for kids....I can only imagine what our nation and the world would be if such an education was required before kindergarten. If you have the opportunity to get a slot (I know the wait list is already a couple years out now), brighten your child's life and future with a couple years at Sidewalk's End.

We can't say enough good things about Sidewalk's End Montessori School. Our 4yr old son has been here for 1 yr year. The family culture of the school is very warm and positive. The parents are very involved with the school and the outdoor environment, is great and green . His teachers (Mrs. Gloria and Mrs. Lyeen) are wonderful. They are dedicated, passionate and intelligent. We know our son is getting individualized attention and they are allowing him to grow at his own pace (i.e., not just at the common denominator of the class). They are cultivating and developing the whole child. We are simply amazed at how much he is learning and advancing. All while becoming a compassionate and polite individual. We always feel supported as a family. They have been great throughout the enrollment process.They are always planning activities and the children are never bored. It's an efficient and well run school. We are enrolling our 3 yr old son given how much his older brother enjoys the school.

My daughter loved Sidewalk's End. It was the best preschool experience we could have given her. Lynne, Grace, Amber, Tabitha, and the rest of the crew are so enthusiastic about teaching by embracing the world around us. I can't recommend Sidewalk's End enough!
