I have known Maureen Bright for many years as a friend and as a dedicated early childhood educator. In 2000, 23 years ago now, I was introduced to Maureen Bright and her Montessori school. For over 11 years, I drove one child, and then another, and then another to her beautiful school. There, my four children were surrounded with love, care, and wise teachers who not only taught them addition and how to read, but how to become all that they are. I can't say enough good things about Ms. Bright or how her school nurtured our children and our family. She taught me how to see my children differently, how to relax as a parent and trust the developmental process, and how to listen to my children's behavior and needs. Academically, my children received a wonderful foundation in her school. Their mastery of math and reading was awe inspiring - while also kindling a joy and love of learning. She gave our family a foundation that will forever have my gratitude. If you have a chance, I also encourage you to take a parenting class with Ms. Bright. She's a beloved student of Dr. Gordon Neufeld and is a facilitator for his many helpful classes - from understanding the roots of anxiety to parenting adolescents. Her developmental understanding, nurturing environment, and focus on relationship sets her apart from other Montessori schools. I consider her an elder in the Montessori community and we are lucky to have her wisdom, understanding, and insight.

Amazing, experienced gifted teacher, Ms. Bright prepared my children with emotional skills and a zest for life. We have forever been blessed with Maureen and our experience with Secret Garden. It is indeed a very special place.
