Ravenswood Montessori School

Our daughter attended RMS between 2019-2022, and I would recommend the school to other parents for childcare or Pre-K. Teachers such as Ms. Ioana and staff have shown a lot of care and consideration for our daughter's growth, maturation, and interactions with her peers and adults. They've all provided meaningful support to us as parents as well, as it has been easy to communicate and work together with staff and teachers around behavioral concerns or other complex circumstances. RMS supports many activities for its students that encourage both independent and collaborative play and learning, and these are activities easy to support at hoke as well. Food offered to students for breakfast, lunch, and snacks are varied and healthy. Finally, I also applaud the school for its responsible COVID-19 policies on masking and other protocols, which have helped keep my daughter, her friends at school, and staff healthy. Thanks again for a great experience for us and our daughter!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at RMS. The staff and m teachers are great, the communication with parents is outstanding too. Our son and daughter absolutely loved being at the school. Our kids were taught independence and a love of learning arts, maths and languages. We will miss RMS!

We love Ravenswood Montossori! We can’t say enough good things about this school. Our daughter started here when she was two years old, and has been here for several years. The teachers and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and fantastic with the kids. I don’t know much about Montossori before coming in, but it is so helpful that my daughter now that she is 4 years old is able to do so much on her own. She does a lot of independent play, she knows how to dress herself, she knows how to take dishes to the kitchen and wash them. This facility also did a really fantastic job and managing Covid. We have only had one closure in two years, which is pretty incredible given that most other facilities I know of have had to close down more often than that. My child comes home every day and talks about how much she loves playing with her teachers. The one small downside as we are not able to go in and visit classrooms because of Covid protocols at this time but I imagine this may change in the near future. I would highly recommend Ravenswood Montossori School to anyone looking for childcare!!

Rms is a great school and the staff is amazing. Our son spent almost 2 years there and we could not have been happier. We went thru the pandemic with them and felt safe all the way thru. The education they provide is top notch. We left because we moved to the suburbs. All the staff is very caring and you can tell they love what they do. Overall great school, recommend it to any and all families. We miss u RMS!

Ravenswood Montessori School is the best school in the neighborhood! Our daughter attended RMS for about 1 year and we have been so happy. It’s an excellent school with warm & friendly staff. In the mornings we felt comfortable dropping off our daughter knowing that she was in a safe atmosphere. They have been very strict with COVID regularly announcing safety protocols for the children, staff and parents. RMS offers good structure is efficient and well-organized. Highly recommend!

My son started spent over 2 1/2 years at RMS, from the time he was 2 years old. Overall, we cannot speak highly enough about RMS, the staff, teachers, and all who help out at the school. Every single person that works there truly cares about the education, well-being, and safety of the students. It is very obvious they all care about the kids and never slack on giving the love and attention these little ones need. Even through the challenges of Covid, the staff never missed a beat and kept the students and teachers safety in mind. If you're in the neighborhood looking for a great place to send your child, I'd recommend RMS as your first (and possibly only) stop. You really can't go wrong.
